Quite roomy and clean! Very convenient place. Though I drove, the train station across would be helpful for anyone without a car! Highly recommended.

Beautiful Hotel in the heart of Lucerne. Excellent location on lake Lucerne with breath takin views of lake and mountains. Walkable distance to all main attractions. We were upgraded to extremely beautiful room 310 with unbelievable views of the lake Lucerne, mountains and city. Every day we enjoyed our time on the balcony of our room. Room was in excellent condition with beautiful classic furniture. Very comfortable and roomy. In the morning we loved our delicious and freshly cooked breakfast. They had a tasty verity of bar food and you can also order from the menu. everything we tried was delicious and very fresh. Our waiter at breakfast was extremely professional and friendly. He made us fell that we knew him for a long time. Each morning we had a nice conversation with him and he gave us a good boost for the entire day. He gave us nice and very useful recommendation and suggestion. The stuff at front desk of the hotel was very helpful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our stay and when we decide to come back to Lucerne we defiantly will stay again in this paradise made by Grand Hotel National Lucerne. Thank you for such a beautiful and comfortable stay. We had a great time at Grand Hotel National Lucerne.

Fantastic hotel all around— property, room, location — all perfect!

The room temperature is too high and can’t be adjusted due to it is central controlled. I can’t sleep well because of the heat.

The location in the old town is the best part of this hotel. The room was very small with no storage space (had to walk around our suitcases) to get around. The shower was miniature with curtain on two sides. The breakfast had very small selection of food. The lady serving the breakfast cafe was very nice, as were the front desk. Unfortunately, the neighboring business was reconstructing and there was lots of noise during the day. However, the evenings were quiet from the construction and the neighbors.
