My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. It was very comfortable. Staff at the reception desk were helpful. The room was spacious with two comfortable bed. It was conveniently located: 20 minutes walk to the city center and 7 minutes walk to Galway Shopping center. It was 10 euros by taxi to the city center bus stop. We had dinner at Gatto Rosso at the Square and coffee at Cafe Nero. We did 2 bus tours: one was to Cliffs of Moher and Burren; the other was to Kylemore Abbey. Both were excellent.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

The setting of this hotel is beautiful, and as long as you have a car, it’s easy to get around - we used it for a base for the Galway area.
Our stay included breakfast, which was lovely. We even had it in our room one day.
A few draw backs for us was: the front desk staff, who were pretty rude and unhelpful when we checked in (but we are used to American level of friendliness of service)
Also how early everything closed, the kitchen closes at nine even on a weekend… I wish we had known…

Excellent breakfast menu! I also enjoyed visiting the gym facilities.
The room was small but had what we needed.
The bathroom does not have a fan and only a 1/2 shower wall causing the entire bath floor to get wet.
