Amazing location right by the water, quiet building and clean.
But the furniture is really uncomfortable, particularly the couch which is the only seating, it’s a pull out bed so the entire sofa sinks in low. The bed isn’t solid and easily slides off the frame just by sitting on it. We also had a delivery order stolen from the front desk area.

The hotel lobby is stunning and steeped in history, giving it a charming and nostalgic ambiance. However, some features feel a bit dated; for instance, the bedroom doors have an old-fashioned design, and light from the hallway can seep into the rooms. The accommodations are comfortable and generally average. When you first arrive, there’s a slight musty smell in the hotel, but you quickly adapt to it, it’s definitely different from the standard hotel scent. Overall, it’s a unique experience with plenty of character!

Beautiful place. But floor in the bathroom was a little sticky. Yuck. When I checked in, I was shown a beautiful dining room where breakfast would be served. But then, instead, it was served in a much more shabby room. Also, the included breakfast was quite skimpy. Extra charge for a real breakfast. (Also, I may be wrong, but I don’t think the word “potatoes” appears anywhere on the menu. Of course, you do serve potatoes - with a delicious omelette that I enjoyed, for example.)
