The hotel is in good condition and is recently built. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However we did notice was there was no in room coffee machine or option. The workout gym was poorly furnished and there was a seminar room with glass window looking into the gym space. I intended to use the sauna but the use was an extra charge. Same with the parking which came with a fee of 29 euro. One last thing to note is that there is no food option for the hotel for dinner, and the access to restaurants is quite limited and a good walk away. The hotel staff however did call another hotel who provided a van for us to eat at their restaurant. A 15 minute drive away. Nice of them to do that but not the same as eating at the hotel itself.

My 11-year-old son and I stayed here the first night arriving in Slovenia from Canada. PERFECT place to stay for first 24 hours. 30 min from airport, and walking in old town and hiking 2 hours around castle. 10/10.

Loved the spa & pool

There was a man, Bor, who was so friendly and welcoming. This property felt so luxurious but also homey. The Michelin restaurant served absolutely delicious local food. We slept so well here. It was so quiet with antique books everywhere. The bath was so nice in the bathroom with everything you could want - robes, slippers, conditioner, shampoo and Epsom salt.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here at Hotel Nox! The foyer, restaurant and room were all very modern and clean. Breakfast was lovely and I was very quick to be served. But above all the staff were absolutely INCREDIBLE. All of them were so kind, helpful, chatty and considerate. Also there is a bus stop right next to the hotel where you can catch the bus into the city centre and there is a gorgeous walk up through the forest directly behind the hotel. Will definitely be returning!! :) Thank you so much!!

Loved our time here. The hotel was excellent, spotlessly clean and the host was friendly and helpful. Facilities were as described.Highly recommended

Bed and linen were neat and clean Washing machine and cloth rack available Small lawn area also attached to the room Cons: For some reason there were a lot of house flies in the room The shower head was not functioning properly - only the overhead one worked the hand held one didn’t work. In the washroom, there isnt a proper separation on the floor between shower area and the rest of the bathroom so the water ends up spilling outside. Other than this, all good.

We stayed for five nights. Our arrival was miserable. We drove from Split. Our intention was to arrive by 8pm, but due to some delays, we arrived at 9:30pm. The reception had left at 9pm. The front door was locked. There was a note: call a local number to gain entry. Being from Canada, we tried to avoid costly cellular roaming fees and were travelling with data only (eSIM). So we couldn’t call the number. After trying to contact the property via Expedia (which failed), we finally enabled roaming (expensive), and were able to speak to the property and they talked us into locating keys in a lock box. The room we got was room 7…one of three attic rooms. We had to lug our suitcases way up to an attic level…the stairs were not lighted…and we finally, using the phone’s flashlight, were able to enter the room. This room was built between roof trusses and beams. To get into the beds required climbing over wooden beams while avoiding hitting one’s head on a slanted wall/ceiling. Accessing one bed required climbing under a steel rod while climbing over a wooden beam. Quite dangerous and not acceptable in terms of safety. We stayed in this room for the first night but insisted that we receive a better room. We moved into room 2, not an attic room, for the last four nights. Note…the photos of the attic room skillfully manage to conceal the hazards. The lower level room was much better. It was nice, but there weren’t enough places to stash belongings/towels, but it was clean & tidy

We were greeted warmly. The staff were friendly & kind. The room was clean & comfortable. The breakfast selection was varied & plentiful. Parking was easy. Location was good for us. An easy 45 minute walk to the centre.
