The good- Location was good, most of the things we did were walkable or with easy access to the ttc. Staff was super friendly and we were able to check in early which was amazing. The okay- everyone raves about the breakfast but it’s super chaotic, staff seemed disorganized and would walk you all over and then pass you off. Odd set up for what is in my opinion a pretty standard hot breakfast buffet, just more of it. You can’t take it to your room so not ideal if someone in your party sleeps late. The bad- room was very small which is to be expected but I have no idea who thought the bathroom design would be good. Pocket door that is soo loud to open and close, Glass door that provides zero privacy even though it’s not clear, you can see silhouettes through it. If someone gets up in the night the entire room lights up because…glass but you’re already awake because the door is so loud. No vanity. No where to set cosmetic bag. Not enough hooks to hang towels. Incredibly poor design. Room was very loud. Could hear full conversations in the hallway. No regular coffee or tea in room. Decaf or espresso only. Strange. Wouldn’t stay again specifically because of the bathroom. Staff were friendly. Location good. Price too high for what it was.

Excellent hotel in an great downtown Toronto location. Close to the market, ball park, downtown airport and especially the Union Station with trains coming from Toronto Pearson airport.

Terrific location!

This family operated motel is a solid 10! Staff were warm and personable, and welcomed our check-in hours before normal (as our room was ready). The room was spotlessly clean and extremely well lit, one of several that were quite recently renovated. Like brand NEW. (The rest are scheduled for remodelling through the winter ‘26/‘27.) The beds were comfortable, the linens appeared to be brand new as was everything in the bathroom and the temperature controls worked perfectly. Soundproofing was also excellent. Outdoors there’s ample green space with picnic benches under the trees and many rooms including ours face the water. There’s very easy access to the freeway and we found it a short drive to many points of interest, including Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Port Dalhousie, the Welland Canal, etc. All in all, excellent value and I would definitely stay there again.

Photos of this hotel are far from reality. Rooms weren't great. Doors to the room had a massive gap between floor and doors. Staff are extremely disorganized. They told me that they would have a crib ready for me, was not the case, had to go to front desk 3 times to deal with it. They told me at one point that they had none available, even after confirming twice they had one for me and ended up that they were confused themselves on where it was. Would not recommend.
