Spacious. Clean. Friendly staff. Quite a walk to the station which is a bummer after a long day. But we loved proximity to Ueno park and the street market.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel during our 8-night visit to Tokyo. The location couldn’t be more convenient — Naka-Okachimachi Station is literally right in front of the hotel, which made getting around the city incredibly easy. There’s also a 7-Eleven diagonally across the street, and plenty of great food spots within a 3–5 minute walk. The hotel itself is very clean and well-maintained. The rooms are on the smaller side compared to what we’re used to in the U.S., but the cleanliness and thoughtful layout more than make up for it. The staff were all extremely polite and helpful, which made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. We also opted for the daily breakfast and were happy with the variety and quality—it was a convenient way to start each day. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Tokyo.

Classy hotel in a quiet yet convenient location for the main subway lines. Generous room sizes and helpful to have joining rooms for our family. Room amenities were great and the restaurants served delicious food, albeit at a fairly steep price. Would highly recommend a stay here if you want the convenience of transportation with a bit of peace and quiet after a busy day.

Thr property is simply gorgeous. It is exactly as advertised. The staff were all very helpful and professional.

We (3 adults) stayed 3 nights at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel (Main Tower, 14th floor, Corner Twin Room with Sofa). It was an ideal location as it was extremely close (3 minute walk) to the Shinawaga Station. All staff were very friendly and courteous. The breakfast buffet was the highlight as there was so many choices from both Japanese and Western foods. Lots of things to do at the hotel (bowling, shopping, aquarium next door, etc) but we did not have enough time. This hotel provided luggage forwarding service (I’m sure most do, if not all) to our next hotel in Kyoto … this was ideal since we spent a couple of days in Hakone before arriving in Kyoto. The reason I did not give a 5 star rating was our room: Main Tower, 14th floor, Corner Twin Room with Sofa. The space was sufficient for us (3 large luggage’s, hand csrry-ons) but I felt the room was a bit outdated in this day of charging electronic devices (laptop, cell phone, wireless ear pods, pocket wifi, etc). The room has a desk but only 2 electrical plugs, no other plugs on the wall to use, not even on the bedside table where you need your phone handy when charging. The room is supplied with an extension cord but only has 2 plugs where one will be taken up by a multi charge wires; this was helpful but to me this a tripping hazard when plugged into the desk. To summarize, nice hotel, amazing breakfast buffet and closely located to the train station but not enough electrical plugs in the room.

This is a nice hotel. The lobby area, restaurants and garden especially. The rooms however are a bit worn and dated. They are working through a refurbishment, so I guess this will be rectified but it did mean some noise from this. There is also construction outside the station so the whole area feels like a building site right now. The view from my room on a high floor across Tokyo was superb though so would definitely be worth the rate once refurbished. This hotel is up a hill from the station and behind others in the complex. It is a bit confusing to find by going through one of the sister hotels and then the gardens. Also the shuttle bus to the station only operates from the hotel next door, which is closer to the station anyway so it made no sense to me and I just walked up and down the hill each time. This is fine so long as you don't have a lot of luggage and are quite mobile. Breakfast I felt was very expensive, even the discounted price booked ahead but there was a good choice. There is a 7-11 in the lobby though which is great for drinks and snacks.
