The hotel is fantastic for its design, the room and the view. I regret the quality of the food at the restaurant as well as its design which made me think I better cross the street to go to the Mac Donald. The Spa is great but its opening hours till 9PM makes it difficult to enjoy a business day, a restaurant and finishing the day at the spa. So sad.

Lots of nice detail in the furnishings, everything needed in the room, lots of places to sit and hang out inside and outside, good food, great bread, very friendly staff, great recommendations for activities, nice pool.

Amazing staff, brilliant childcare, great amenities and the perfect setting. We will be back!

Everything about this hotel was perfect except that we had a room above the patio for the pub and other guests were extremely loud even well past the midnight closing time so we couldn’t sleep.

Hotel Walhalla was such a beautiful and clean hotel. The staff were so nice and accommodating. I stayed one night and found the room to be very spacious, clean, and updated. The location is very convenient as it is right across from the tram stops and the train station making it very easy for travelers like myself. It’s also super close to some main attractions like the Abbey Library which was only a 9 minute walk. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and was complimentary with the stay. Would definitely stay here if you are looking for a very nice and safe hotel in St. Gallen.
