Central Albania Adults Only Holidays

I checked in pretty late , when I got there the receptionist informed me that I book for 1 person but my friend was with me and I told initial it was just me but she came along and I didn’t mind paying for the difference of my friend being there and the receptionist told me that it was €40 on PayPal because he the amount was too small to on hotels card reader and now he won’t stop texting/calling me.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, so helpful and friendly. The room was perfect, so comfortable. The pool and restaurant is also beautiful and breakfast was incredible. We couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, so impressed and we will definitely be coming back. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, we loved it, it was heaven

Our stay was ok, though they never refilled our coffee pods. They have wet showers which we thought made the bathroom very wet and uncomfortable. Close to the beach and markets. Parking was easy.

Just spent 6 nights at the Grand Duka and I must say to anyone considering this hotel- do it. Very central location... clean +++ the cleaners deserve an award! The staff were very helpful, special shout out to Paola at reception, always graceful, polite, and a true credit to the organisation!! Did the lunch on the boat in the hotels vineyard which was lovely and Tosi took customer service to the next level. Also Anxgela was very helpful as well. 100% across board!!!!

Very nice hotel with a great, friendly, and helpful staff. It’s a pity that the facilities aren’t as well maintained. For example, there aren't enough pool towels, and you sometimes have to wait for them to come out of the laundry. At the beach, there aren't enough sun loungers for everyone, or perhaps there are, but many non-hotel guests come and use them, and none of the hotel staff ask them to leave. The breakfast offers a rich and wide selection, but unfortunately, it wasn't very tasty... such a shame. Overall, it's a nice hotel, and despite everything, we enjoyed our stay

Lovely place to stay, good staff amd amenities

Beautiful, spacious, modern rooms. Great shower. Stunning view from the room, pool and restaurant. Truly breathtaking. The only two drawbacks for me were: The location: far up a hill with nothing nearby. As someone without a car, I’m glad I was only staying one night because taxis in Albania are expensive. At the same time, you can’t get that view without being high up. If you have a car or ample budget for taxis (35-40 euros round trip) you might not mind as much! The restaurant: Dinner at the restaurant was not great. I had the chicken risotto and ended up eating around the chicken. Drinks were good. Wine was great. And breakfast was really great!
