Had a room with pool access, it was amazing. Staff was great and amenities were great as well!

Second year at this property. I would strongly recommend staying at the Ambar section of this very large resort. Staff were courteous and friendly overall. In particular, enjoyed the bar staff at the poolside bar and our morning visits to the coffee bar.

Overall we enjoyed our time at the Barcelo palace. We liked the offerings for kids and the beach and pool area.

View from the room was fabulous but the part we stayed in was older and very worn but everything worked. We got woken up several times a night due to noisy neighbors partying till 2 - 3 - 4 am. It was not the restful break we were looking for but the food was excellent and so too the staff.

Breathtaking property. They do a wonderful job of blending modern comfort with the natural beauty. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Located on the beach, this resort doesn't make you choose between a pool day and a beach day, you can have it all!
