The rooms in the basement are definitely not a 4 star experience. Although clean, this is more a 2 star hotel. During our stay the carpet was also wet and there were a few dehumidifiers running continuously.

We loved our stay here. The location was excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly. Food was great. Rooms were clean and comfy. Be aware that there are three floors and no elevator. This wasn’t a problem for us, but it could be for others. Overall, highly recommend the Inn!

All good in the end, but the checkin instructions were not particularly clear - quite confusing in fact. We entered the complex and then had no idea how to find our unit. Thankfully someone could give us a bit of guidance (they were not particularly familiar) when we called for support and we eventually found our unit. Very nicely appointed and we had a great stay - a few added sentences to orienting folks for checkin could solve our issue!

Very convenient location for a weekend in Edinburgh! We arrived early and made use of the luggage storage down the stairs after getting off the train. It was easy to head out and see the town before coming back in. The room itself was amazing! So spacious and it smelled lovely! Very comfortable bed and nice kitchen. We loved how many amazing food options were right around the block. Lots of transit options nearby as well. We would love to come back someday!

They did not serve breakfast because their kitchen is under renovation, even though hotel.com still listed as breakfast included. They recommended diner around the corner was just OK. Other than that, the room was great, the beds were comfortable, and the location was centrally located.
