We received a nice greeting on arrival when checking in. Our room was okay but in need of some TLC. Two of the four windows would not open which in the current hot spell wasn’t good. The staff serving us when we ate were nothing special and didn’t really try to make us feel welcome, in fact one was quite surly. On checking out the poor guest relations continued without any engagement from the receptionist.

we absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful little inn. Our room was spotless with a comfy bed and great shower and bathroom. We really appreciated the amenities in the room such as the nespresso coffee maker, the tea kettle, hot chocolate and little treats. It has a great location just a short walk to downtown. The host was lovely and met us upon arrival. We stayed multiple places across scotland this trip and this was one of our favorites!
