Stay was fine, rooms are clean and cozy and there is absolute silence, food not really special for the price. Joze is a good guide, but sometimes a bit overreacting, which I find unprofessional, also watching boundaries might help to make the place more comfortable for the guests.

1500 letters are not enough to say what an extraordinary cool stay you will have at Casa Marisa. Against the stunning backdrop of Pico de Fogo volcano the harsh , dramatic lava fields surround this unique lodge. Our funco (roundhouse bungalow) was just perfect. No shortage of hot water and funco #9 has a good geothermal natural warmth . The breeze keeps you cool and it does cool Down at night. We enjoyed the meals we had and Marisa makes a great bartender. The stunning gardens add to the ambiance of the place! Don’t miss out on great Cape Verdean hospitality and a truly other wordly location !

house is still a construction side, even if you know, that water is scarce there, the installation of the whole water distribution system is not finished. actually no water availabe, to take even a cold water shower,water for toilet flushing only in a barrel , to be taken out by hand. bed not ok. very basic kind of breakfast. To ebookers: to offer this place on your side is not a proof of good quality management . We moved out next morning and cancelled the stay then.
