Staff was extremely friendly and polite. Hotel is in a great location. The rooms facing Whyte Ave. can be a bit noisy at night -- ask for a room facing away from Whyte Ave. Room was clean and bathroom had a nice walk-in shower. Breakfast at Ampersand (located in the hotel) was delicious.

We love visiting this hotel. We come annually. They treat us like family. Our daughter adores the hotel dog Hendrix. We are on first name basis with some staff. It’s like stepping back in time with the elegance and attention to detail.

The room was nice. Disappointed that the pool wasnt working and it wasn't mentioned on Expedia or on the hotel website. Also in the morning they where cleaning the floor and there was no signage. I slipped and hurt myself not really happy.

We stayed in three different hotels during our trip to Canada and this was my favourite: the staff couldn't be more helpful and accommodating and friendly. There's a lovely bar/restaurant where we enjoyed evening drinks and desserts. We stayed in a suite and I'd definitely recommend the upgrade - spacious, well equipped, nicely maintained. It was a lovely stay and thank you to everybody on the desk and in the bar who made it such a nice experience.

While in a great location, this hotel is very dated. The breakfast was good though and the staff are friendly.
