There were aspects of our stay that were positive but staff seemed unable to fix a significant billing problem, telling us to write to a general email address which no one replied to, not even through the hotels.com app. This lack of customer service for a hotel of this standing was both surprising and disappointing and unfortunately spoiled our experience.

We arrived early afternoon to the hotel. Already at the parking we was greeted by staff who took care of our luggage.
We became upgrade to a suite with a terrace.
Due to the nice, relaxed surroundings at the hotel decided to stay at the hotel to enjoy the afternoon.l
