When we arrived, fire engines surrounded the hotel and the word was a gas leak and all guests were evacuated. 2 hours later the building was declared safe. Little did I know that we would have no hot water and the hotel restaurant would be closed

First time staying in Charleston. Loved the hotel. My husband and I stayed in a one bedroom and it was bigger than my one bedroom apartment I had rented back home when I was younger. Rooftop restaurant was good but just wished they offered more items on the menu. The Rise coffee shop was one of my daily stops. I will be back!! Thank you for the hospitality.

Very nice property in a very good location! Customer service is great, parking is convenient! Rooms are very good! Just gave it 4 stars vs 5 due to lack of food service and quality! All else is great and if food is not important then it gets 5 stars!
