The ocean was not really accessible, too many rocks. Most of the staff was not friendly especially at the buffet restaurant. The food wasn't that great, there weren't that many options. The nightly shows weren't that entertaining. They had a pool bar next to the pool but you couldn't access the bar if you were wet. Don't see the point of a pool bar if you can't get to it. We saw vomit in the pool and no one came to clean it. After an hour we told someone else and the pool guy just dismissed us and didn't clean it. Wouldn't stay here again.

This is our new favorite hotel in the entire country! Five star all the way, the best staff I’ve experienced anywhere, attention to every detail and thorough anticipation of the guests every need. The views alone make the stay unmatched but when you combine the five star dining, service and overall vibe of this immaculate property the Casa Chameleon experience is exceptional and will be very hard for other hotels to match.

Place was beautiful, stayed in a private house. The AC in the room was perfect. Bartender in the main bar was incredible. Didn’t like the pool bars closing at 5pm and wished they had activities that had people in the hotel get together. But everything was perfect.

Everything was amazing and the staff was excellent! It was a little hard to get in touch with nexuss and get our ride home times changed. Making dinner reservations or breakfast room service wasn’t the easiest with the app. but you could contact the front desk for help.

Hotel is absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was great and not to be missed. We enjoyed the evening cocktail at sunset provided by the hotel a short walk down a path to the beach. Monkeys in the trees and beautiful birds. We traveled with 4 teenagers who loved the location, walkable to town, or short uber. Fun shopping and local restaurants on the beach. Ocean is swimmable with local rentals in town. Villas are spacious and well stocked with kitchen, large living room. Staff was very helpful with great communication by Whatsapp, local suggestions for adventures. We had a fun trip on a catamaran at Sunset.

Beautiful property full of extra touches to make it super special. Wonderful excursion options for all levels of adventure. Traveled with 2 young kids and they had a blast. 10/10 would come back.

Beautiful property and room! The pools are plentiful and never felt crowded—we saw a monkey! Treat yourself to an evening sunset by the lobby bar—breathtaking! The beach is ona beautiful cove. My kids enjoyed the rocky areas for “tidepooling” for hermit crabs, fish, etc. There is a nice reef right off the beach where daily snorkeling activities are available. We saw a puffer fish, some colorful tropical fish and a spotted ray. Note the beach is public, but the locals are friendly and not loud. There are no loungers down close to the ocean (a little higher up on the sand close to the property, but not many people sat there). It was a tad of an annoyance to see 9 jet skis in the cove almost everyday. They are for rental. My family did enjoy them one day, however, 2 or three would suffice. 9 surely took away from the tropical island feel and I looked forward to each evening when they disappeared. The room was luxurious and had everything you needed. We did purchase a 2 queens room with a small plunge pool—in hindsight sight we did not use it much and we noticed these pools were only on the first floors (preventing a better view). It did seem like there were only a few larger suites with a corner pool on the upper floors of buildings). The dining was pretty good. The breakfast spread at TicoTica was great and unexpected. We enjoyed Peacock Alley to watch the World Cup USA game—a great vibe. Kids enjoyed the pool with the slide and the teen room was cool. Pura Vida!
