The hotel offers a truly memorable stay, blending comfort with a distinct sense of character that sets it apart from standard accommodations. From the moment of arrival, the atmosphere feels warm and thoughtfully designed, with staff who are attentive without being overwhelming.

The hotel is understaffed. Room service trays and pool service items were not cleaned up (sometimes for all day) in a timely manner. All staff should always help to pickup stuff from hallways and pool area. Food and service was excellent but rather expensive. I will return but figure out ways to not spend so much dining.

Beautiful Property & Amazing Staff! I had an amazing stay at Hotel Clark during my recent trip to LA for the Create & Cultivate conference. I actually stayed during their first week of opening, and the experience was wonderful from beginning to end. The property is absolutely gorgeous, my room was beautiful and spacious, and I loved the full closet in my suite along with thoughtful amenities like robes and slippers. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained. The staff really stood out. Check-in was easy, the front desk was always helpful and prompt whenever I had a question, and housekeeping did an amazing job. I really appreciated the attention to detail, even down to neatly organizing the few personal items I had left out while cleaning my room. The pool area was beautiful as well. On my last day, I was able to sit by the pool with a mocktail and relax before leaving LA, which was the perfect way to end my stay. I didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant this trip, so that’s definitely on my list for next time. I would absolutely stay at Hotel Clark again when I’m back in LA. Beautiful property, great amenities, wonderful staff, and an overall great experience!

Used to stay here a lot years ago. It’s definitely a different experience now and sadly not nearly as special. The Bungalows are smaller and have lost their charm. They first put us in one in the back of the property that smelled really musty. I’m not sure if it hadn’t been used in a while or if it had mold, but the smell was so strong we had to move rooms. Second Bungalow just felt like a standard hotel room. No balcony, nothing in the minibar,.. Their answer to the musty room was to send someone over with a spray bottle of air freshener which he proceeded to spray around the room. This actually smelled worse than the mold. Super bummed. Used to be a great place.

We had a couple issues during our stay, however they were handled in a timely manner. The location was probably the best part about it. We were able to walk to the majority of our destinations during the week. Communication with the host was excellent. If you are a light sleeper, I would recommend staying in an upstairs unit due to the noise from other renters. For the price, location and staff, I would recommend staying.

the location, the design, the staff, the room, the vibes were all top tier. If i have to nitpick, there were two things that i would have to mention. If i were entitled id throw a fit, since i am not, i hope that these are only things to be mindful of. If i had another visit to Venice Beach I would definitely stay here again frfr. With that being said… 1) if you happen to rent a car, there is no dedicated on-site parking. It was a really a non-issue, but you may spend an extra 3-5 minutes finding parking. As a solution that has probably already been thought of, I would like it if there was a valet service that collaborated with a local parking area/structure. Additionally, having a space to load-unload that is primarily reserved for Gjellina patrons would make the arrival process slightly easier. Street parking is really easy to find. If you can navigate a Traders Joes parking lot, venice beach parking is a no brainer. 2) the humidity outside is the humidity inside. Maybe i was doing something wrong. There is excellent ventilation, but my swim shorts never really dried. Still a non issue, they were dry enough. IRRRregardless, i highly recommend staying here. The staff is friendly, the welcome cookie is fire, and there a lot of little things that are worth discovering yourself. And dudegirlbrosis, the location?!!! Nothings beats it. Also, beware of coming here for beach music festivals, the city might cancel them because of “weather” and not ticket sales.
