Isle of Lismore Adults Only Holidays

Booked for a mid-July stay for 1 night to catch a train the next morning at central station. The hotel is across the street from the station, which was a huge plus. The area was a tad sketchy but the hotel was well maintained. I found staff to be slightly disengaged but the person who checked us in was friendly though not very helpful. We booked a room with a king and sofa bed and wow! We got this beautiful corner room with floor to ceiling windows! It was lovely! The rooms are definitely modern and trendy but it is a little weird to take a shower without a private space to change, when you’re traveling with someone you don’t want to change in front of. Nonetheless, we were incredibly pleased with the large, airy space and the king bed was comfortable and the sofa bed was adequate.

This hotel is a lovely blend of a wonderful terraced house tastefully decorated and fitted out to simultaneously recognise the house's heritage and presenting modern amenities, the attention to style and detail was impecable. Clearly a labour of love evrything ran smoothly from introduction, to breakfast presented at our bedroom to our departure. Kelvingrove museum is ten minutes walk away and the park across the road was a delightful haven. We would not hesitate to chose this hotel should we return at a future date.

Since it is a historic building there’s no control over temperature or any kind of air flow in the rooms without opening a window. Ceiling fans or some kind of thermostat would be helpful. But otherwise the property is spectacular and the staff very helpful. Enjoyed the breakfast as well!

Our favorite place we stayed in the UK. It was amazing and i highly recommend a stay.

Check out was 10am and had to pay till 11 which is usual time to checkout had to pay extra 20 to stay till 11 apart from that was ok
