West Atlantic City Adults Only Holidays

When we arrived we were upgraded to a suite. I had booked a standard king non-smoking room. When we got to our room, it was a smoking room and reeked of cigarettes. I have severe asthma and so I went to the front desk to try to change rooms. The gentleman at the desk said sorry nothing we can do but be happy we upgraded you to a suite. I wanted what I paid for with no cigarette smells. He said that he would send house cleaning to spray something to get rid of the smell but no one ever showed up. I had to go to the hospital this morning after we checked out for treatment from the extreme smell. I expect it in the casino and intended to avoid those areas. This was just a place to rest for a night. The room was also falling apart. Carpet ripped in places. Bed falling apart, missing pieces of the molding at the bottom of the wall. And the shower had zero water pressure and was an ada room so it was impossible to shower easily. There was no body wash provided and none to buy in the shop. I will never stay here again. This place had better reviews than other casinos which is what led us here. The lack of concern and helpfulness of the staff was extremely disappointing.

Property was clean and well maintained. Only complaint was pool closes to early, at 6 PM. But overall a good stay.

Everything was close by just dislike the fact that they smoke in the casino so the lobby smell like cigarettes
