Fantastic Villa
The Villa is spacious and presented to the highest standard. Wonderful decor and well equipped kitchen. Air conditioning system kept the villa cool when it was really hot outside, which was nice. We really liked the large swimming pool which was really good for games as well as exercise. Plenty of outside space in pleasant surroundings, and a BBQ which we made good use of. The maintenance team kept everything in good order and responded quickly when we had an issue with one of the keys. The villa is in a quiet location, and outside the local village so you definitely need a car. There isn't that much in easy walking distance. We expect to come back!

Great house and pool. Clean and nice kitchen appliances. Close to airport, Valletta and other key attractions on the island. Our contact, Charmaine was very helpful..answered all of our questions about the island, transportation and the accommodations. They even stocked our fridge for a reasonable fee, which was awesome!!

Lovely place
Spent a week there in October and very much enjoyed it. Beautiful house and stunning view. The manager was amazing, she was there for us every time we needed her help. The only thing I think could made our stay better was heated pool. The water in the pool was cold.

Gorgeous property, perfect for a family or three couples. :Lovely setting in a small town close to the Blue Grotto and not too far from Valetta. Check-in was easy and the property manager always responded promptly to my questions. I would highly recommend this property!!

Return inevitable as needed more time
A true oasis for relaxing in luxury. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to escape. The photos don’t do the property justice...5 bathroom, 3 bedrooms with on-suite shower & toilet, powder room & poolside shower with toilet, high end all Bosch kitchen appliances. Truly fantastic place, enjoyed by 3 generations! Literally cannot wait to return.

Beautiful, well appointed.
We enjoyed our stay in this villa. The property and grounds are maintained to a very high standard; there are plenty of loungers and benches in the garden which would be enjoyed in the warmer weather. The kitchen was well appointed and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the privacy you get in this property; not overlooked at all. We don’t usually return to the same place, however, we would consider returning here to enjoy the lovely pool in a summer.

Lovely villa and amazing views, helpful owners
Love the villa and the views you get, we absolutely loved our time here. The owners were very friendly and gave us some useful tips and advice, and quick to sort out a few issues we had. Would definately stay again (once the roadworks are done!) :)

Beautiful villa in quiet location
Had a fantastic time.The villa was luxurious and the pool was great. The Blue Grotto was a short drive away, with lovely restaurants if you want to eat out. The owners were friendly & helpful with any enquiries.

Six-star Malta!
This is quite an extraordinary property. Undoubtably Malta's finest self-catering holiday experience. The quality of this accommodation and its magnificent hill-top location are matched only by the professionalism and hospitality of its hosts. Access to an immaculately presented private pool was probably the highlight for us during summer, but the spacious, air-conditioned interior with plush and tasteful furnishings was also so welcoming after a hot day's sightseeing. The theme here is luxury and space, allowing you to focus on engaging in all the island has to offer and returning to a villa at the cutting edge of relaxation. This home can not be recommended too highly!

Brilliant villa, amazing pool and views!
We booked the villa for a girly holiday - we had the best time. The villa is clean and spacious, Each room has an en suite. Living space and dining table were just the perfect size for us. The kitchen was well equipped, we made breakfast there every morning. The pool area is fab! The views are absolutely gorgeous. There is a garden area too, great for people who have kids. We had rented 2 cars which was useful to roam around and explore the island and most sights were less than half an hour away. Thanks Charmaine and Janice for the patience with all our questions and for being so helpful. Would totally recommend!

Beautiful villa in a peaceful village.
This beautiful, spacious villa provided the perfect base for a lovely holiday. It is set in a quiet village which is perfect for the type of holiday that we needed. You do need a car and a good sat nav to get around adequately. The villa itself is very clean and well stocked with several luxuries to make it a home from home. We really appreciated having the Bluetooth speaker in the living area. The pool area was also much appreciated, though in March the weather was still a little too cool to fully use the pool but warm enough to enjoy sitting around the pool in the sun. There are good local supermarkets with all that is needed for self-catering. We wish we had planned to stay longer and would definitely visit again.

Beautiful villa with stunning views
2 weeks at Villa Munqar June /July 2017. Of the many villas we have taken over the years Villa Munqar is one of the highest quality. The furnishings inside and out were of a high standard and the pool simply perfect. Dorothy and the team were helpful but never intrusive. Zurieq itself is quiet, but you are only 20 min drive from Valletta so the best of both worlds. We don't often return to the same villa but might be making an exception this time.

Great Villa
We were impressed with the villa, it was just as it appeared on the website and it suited the 6 of us perfectly. We would like to thank Janice and the office staff for their help during our stay. On arrival the pool was a little cloudy, this was rectified the same day and Janice helped us print our return flight boarding passes. A cafetiere in the kitchen and another 2 seater settee in the lounge would be good. The location was great, out of the village with panoramic views. We would recommend the villa to our friends and family. Thanks again for making it a great holiday.

Stunning villa
The villa is well equipped, clean and beautiful furnished. The outside area is very secure and only having the main door into the garden made the villa secure when we were all by the pool. Great base for exploring Malta and then coming back for a nice swim in that lovely pool. The team were great at sorting anything we request and this was done the same day. Thank you

Stunning property all round!
Myself and some friends stayed here for 2 weeks and it was fantastic. The villa was wonderful and had everything we could need and more. The only negative comment would be the beds are a little hard and after 2 weeks we were all getting a bit uncomfortable sleeping on them but as that was our only very minor issue I would still highly recommend this beautiful property. The furnishings were all to a very high standard and the pool was amazing! Had lovely views of the island and we watched the sunset most evenings. Janice and the team have been so helpful throughout the whole booking process and the duration of our stay. We were all sad to leave and hope to return in the future. Thanks again for everything. We had rather cold weather so hardly no use of pool area. Everything in the house was great even if we also would like a coffee machine as earlier quests We went to Mdina and Marsaxlokk. Both great visits Also one day in Valetta but rainy and too much people The restaurants around Blu Grotto and especially Il Corsaro was great

Perfect but for a couple of minor "disappointments"
Gorgeous house, view, and pool but a few improvements would make it even better: the beds were very uncomfortable, an extra mattress is a must (bedsprings could be felt at all times); the coffee maker makes only one cup at a time and the house sleeps six or eight persons - there should be a larger one available! The villa is an upscale property, these minor things wouldn't have bothered me as much in a less exclusive and less exciting property. All in all we had a splendid stay and wouldn't hesitate to return to Zurrieq.

Family Holiday on May 2018
This was our first time in Malta, having hitherto always rented villas in Spain. We were surprised that there were so few supermarkets in the immediate vicinity. The villa and the grounds were beautiful, the pool very well maintained. Unfortunately it was still too cool and too windy for us (May). Each bedroom has its own bathroom and its own air conditioning, which is really handy. Unfortunately the bathroom fittings were partly moldy and in need of repair. The kitchen has a well-functioning gas stove, a good microwave and an oven. On the whole, the kitchen is mediocre. Unfortunately, the oven was totally dirty, probably never cleaned (we have never encountered such a thing). Malta is not so big, so that you can easily reach everything with the rental car or bus network. But do not rent a car that is too big ... The landlords are always available and very helpful. The garbage is regularly disposed of and technical problems immediately someone is there. The gate to the property was once again not open and no 10 minutes later, the caretaker was already on the spot and has everything repaired. On the whole a very good property, only with the bathrooms (mold) and oven (very dirty) we were very disappointed, as the holiday was really very expensive.

Feedback is always very important for us as we insist on giving the very best guest experience to the travelers choosing to stay in any one of our properties. We pride ourselves in being accessible and available 24/7 and to promptly address issues that may come up during a stay as well as rectifying any shortcomings that are not up to our guests' expectations. It gives us great satisfaction to see this attitude of service appreciated by our guests. It is therefore a pity that we have not been notified with the status of the showers and kitchen oven while the guest was staying in the villa. While we apologize for any inconvenience. this would have been easily addressed by our housekeeping. We have noted such feedback for future attention. We do not agree with the description that the kitchen in Villa Munqar is 'mediocre'. As one can see in the villa photos as well as from previous reviews left by other guests, the villa boasts high quality, solid wood furnishings throughout, and this includes the kitchen. Finished in solid red oak, stained creamy white, the kitchen is elegantly designed, it being the heart of the villa. It is a large kitchen, with a lot of storage space. The layout is wisely designed to be practical. The kitchen has been so well thought out that Professional chefs have also found it very practical not only to entertain small, private dinners but as well for slightly larger group bookings. (You can book your very own private chef when you make your next booking at Villa Munqar. Subject to availability of the chef.)
