Clean, modern property with a comfortable bed, nice body products and lovely balconies in a trendy area of Zurich. We found it very walkable for our 2 night stay exploring the city before journeying to other areas in Switzerland. Digital, contactless check-in and check-out was seamless. Would not recommend this property to folks who aren’t tech savvy. Make sure to download WhatsApp to communicate with the host company.

We loved how close it was to Everything and how easy transport from Here was. We did not enjoy how hot our room was at night and if we had the window open it would fill our room with the smell of Cigarettes. It's on a Main Street so lots of cars. And the toilet was hard to get to.

Very nice apartmet all in all, clean and spacious. The central heating was a bit annoying as it was set on warm, and so we had to ooen the windows (the fan procided didnt do much).

This place was a good option for me at a reasonable price. It was located at a convenient walking distance to dining and the public transport system. The room was clean. When things broke, they quickly took care of it. While it was not a concernt, safety could be improved a bit more within the building.

The hotel was easy to find, with a bus stop just down the block. The room was a little small for two people, but we made it work. Definitely a great room for one person. Also very clean - it had the amenities of a small kitchen as well. The front desk was amazing! The woman working (who's name I have rudely forgotten) and the man who I believe was the chef, helped me greatly with deciding on what to do that night.

Very nice, had some issues.
My room was great, once I was actually able to get into it. I got into town after midnight, meaning that their check in desk was closed. I knew this beforehand and called ahead, and I was assured that there was an outdoor check in box that I could use with a code from my invoice. The desk employee sent me the invoice and I thought that I was set. Unfortunately no combination of numbers from my invoice worked, and when I called the hotel's phone number I got someone that spoke no english. I ended up having to sleep on the floor of a friend's hotel room. I came back in the morning when they opened, and I was shown a number that was nowhere on my invoice, and I couldn't get an explanation of where it came from. Once I was in, the room was great. It was very clean and comfortable. There is a lot of night life in that section of the city, so be aware of that. Also just verify that you have the correct code if you're checking in after hours.

I'm sure there are better places to stay in Zurich
No air conditioning in the room. Had a fan that was super loud. Little parking in that area and reception didn't seem to know a lot about how parking worked in Zurich. Around corner from the old red light district. I'm sure better places to stay in Zurich

Area surrounding hotel is quite loud, apartment had bed bugs/dirty sheets, staff were good moving us to a different apartment after complaining about having bites from the bugs... wouldn't book again.

Make sure your room is bug free
Staff was polite. Room was stylish. Bedbugs ruined it all. Found the bedbugs at 3am. No staff on duty at time. Packed my stuff and slept at train station. Went back in morning to complain. Staff acted shocked to learn of bedbugs. But so many... I can’t believe bedbugs are recent. They let me sleep a few hours in another room and offered me a *partial* refund. Took it and left for nearest laundry mat.

Hot Room in Rough Loud Area
This hotel is very basic. At check in they had trouble finding out reservation. The place is clean and modern but in a very rough loud area. Our stay was in July and it was hot - there is no air conditioning and no fans were provided. There are several loud bars close by and .... the sound comes in the room. Also there is no breakfast provided or available.

Great staff, cozy room, area is full of nightlife
Amazing staff with great hospitality. They were welcoming and friendly. The hotel itself is nice and comfortable, it is next to an area with lots of bars so people are out late.

We stayed one night before going to Basel. The hotel itself is good. Rooms are very small but clean. The hotel staff were very helpful with directions to trams and things to see. The area is quite shady and loud at night. Easy access to central Zurich.

Very modern room with efficient use of small space. Big windows let in lots of light. The view onto the street and cafe next door is a bit shabby. It was convenient (5min bus ride) to the train station.

The pros and cons of my stay at iQ130 hotel
Blue studio, 4 nights in Aug-Sep'17: + a bright, spacious, clean and comfortable studio + reception staff available practically 24/7 + approximately 15 min walking or 4 bus stops to main train station (Zürich Hauptbahnhof) - reservation changes are done only 8-10am Swiss time and it takes on average 3-4 days to get a response by email - neighborhood is somewhat noisy and appears to be Zurich's "red light district"

Hotel is fine. It was a warm day, no air-conditioning, if you leave windows open, there is lot of noise from nearby drinking holes. The local area is quite run-down and shady. Okay for singles but not family/couples. The lady in the hotel bar will try to sell you costly drinks, so beware.

Bad part of Zurich.
Police were in our area 3 times during our stay to remove drunks and prostitutes. Room was a corner room with large windows. Drapes had to be closed at all times since the room was a "fish bowl". Mgmt responded to our request for a fan since there was no a/c an room was very stuffy. Surprise was that there was a mini kitchen where you could actually cook a meal which we should have done. We walked to a dinner cafe and ended up spending $130 US for a rather basic meal.

Great staff and nice rooms
The owners went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, the hotel is about a 15 min walk from the center of downtown Zurich. The rooms were very modern and nice. The part of town isn't the nicest part of Zurich, but not bad either. We never felt uncomfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Located in the cedy red light district. Room was clean and modern, however a lack of aircon or even a fan meant hot sleepless nights. The large windows had to stay open at night to allow air but that resulted in loud noise all night. Older men hovered at the tables at the hotel entrance smoking cigars and being entertained by asian girls....a very unpleasant sight everyday.

Did not realize that there is no air conditioning. Was there in August and it was very hot. Gave us a fan but not very helpful. Also bed is very low but comfortable. Overall good experience.

According to them, there for no reservation confirmed. Luckily they had a room for us, we had to change rooms for second night.. because they were over booked . The room had no air conditioner .. it was hot.

The Hotel and Surroundings
The Hotel had all the amenities and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Location, from the point of view of commuting to Zurich Downtown is good. You can walk to downtown or use Public Transport. The only negative about the location of the hotel is that just one block away there were "Girls for Money", irrespective of the time of the day.
