The place is clean, well decorated, the room is spacious, the breakfast was top of the line, the staff is friendly, the location is prime. Very close to the lake and just 15 min walk to the old town, a bit more, the train station. They wrote a cute note and offered us a bottle of sparkling wine for New Years Eve. We watched the fireworks from their 360 view rooftop. Perfection all around. But we were so glad we selected it! The staff was exceptionally friendly, everyone spoke fluent English, and everyone worked to ensure our comfort. There were a couple of service errors (a houekeeper who had a little trouble with managing the details, and one breakfast that felt like we were getting the lefovers of other guests), but in both instances, the front desk team sprung into action to make things right when I reported the concerns. The hotel is a good walk to the HB, or a quick walk to the tram station, if you feel like riding. There are some good Italian restaurants, a small bakery, and a delicious gelato shop in the immediate area as well. Of course, having beautiful Lake Zurich nearby was a bonus! Even our departure was wonderful, with Bernadette putting together a breakfast bag for us when we had to leave in the early a.m. for our flight home. We had a great quick stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and the location was very convenient to several tram stops and the lake was a quick 5 minute walk away. Parking is limited but there's a garage also only a 5 minute walk away so we didn't have any issues. The hotel itself was very clean and all workers we encountered were friendly. We loved the complementary coffee bar and the idea of the honor-system treats at the front (we didn't utilize this but thought it was a nice touch)! There's a great rooftop with a wonderful view and as an added bonus our dogs were able to stay with us at no additional cost.
