About this property

Chesa Margadant by Interhome

  • Simple holiday flat in former farmhouse on 2 floors. Quiet and central location in the middle of Zuoz. The flat has its own kitchen, 3 rooms (2 doubles & 1 single), one of which is newly renovated with a view of the Zuoz mountains. 2 separate bathrooms each with shower. Upstairs, cosy living room with TV, sitting & reading corner. The garden with barbecue is available for shared use. The beds are freshly made at the beginning of the holiday. Towels and kitchen linen are provided. The WLAN is of course also available to our guests free of charge.

    The flat is located only three minutes from Zuoz train station, 10 minutes walk from the family-friendly skiing area, 10 minutes walk from the cross-country skiing trail/cross-country skiing centre. Short access routes and direct train or bus connections to various top ski areas: Celerina/St.Moritz (15 min.) & Scuol (45 min.). Sledge run is in the village, in Zernez (15 min.) & in Muottas Muragl (15 min.). The hiking paradise of the Swiss National Park is practically on the doorstep (10 min. S-chanf). For bikers and racing bike riders, there are numerous routes on site. In S-chanf (5 minutes) there is a climbing wall and a bowling alley. Shopping facilities and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity.

    Other leisure facilities:
    Winter: At the Ski areas of Corviglia/Piz Nair, Corvatsch, Diavolezza /Lagalb and Zuoz, as well as the smaller but charming areas, skiers and snowboarders find pistes waiting to be explored. Clip on a pair of narrow cross-country skis to experience an extraordinary sense of freedom as you glide across the endless white expanses of the Engadin. Whether you prefer the elegant classic or more dynamic skating style, you will find that Nordic Skiing acquires a new dimension. Experience the fairy-tale charm of our delightful winter walking trails.
    Summer: The high valley of the Engadin, with its exceptionally diverse network of trails is a dream destination for hikers. The contrasts that are so characteristic of this region are bewitching. The sun-blessed Engadin offers families a very special experience of the mountain simmer. In fact, there’s so much to discover. An inspiring sense of space, magical light, rugged landscapes, idyllic views, endless options: The region offers an unrivalled playground for mountain bikers.

    Excursion possibilities:

    What mountains. What lakes. What light! Whether on the 580km (360 miles) of hiking paths strewn over all the mountains or by mountain bike along 400km (250 miles) of fabulous trails: the Upper Engadin offers a superb network of paths and trails amidst an unspoilt Alpine landscape and the inspiring lake plateau. Four flow trails on the Corviglia guarantee a perfect flow. Equally popular among sports enthusiasts are the Upper Engadin lakes; kiting, sailing, windsurfing, stand up paddling – the possibilities are virtually endless. The expanse of the inspiring high-lying valley can be experienced in a particularly striking way on the two 18-hole golf courses in Samedan and Zuoz. And besides the wide range of sporting options, visitors can take advantage of the first-class cultural activities on offer, such as a visit to a museum or to one of the numerous art galleries in the various villages.  


    In winter, the ski areas of Corviglia, Corvatsch, Diavolezza and family friendly Zuoz invite ski and snowboard enthusiasts to revel in 350 kilometres (218 miles) of the finest powder snow. Cross-country skiers will find over 220km (137 miles) of perfectly groomed trails in the Upper Engadin and the side valleys. The winter hiking paths and cross-country ski trails on the frozen Upper Engadin lakes are characterised by their light, sunshine and space amidst inspiring Alpine scenery. Those who would like to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the snow-covered forests can explore the side valleys of Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever on 150 kilometres (90 miles) of winter hiking paths. Visitors who prefer to have everything in view, meanwhile, will delight in the breathtaking vistas on the panorama hiking trails high above the lakes on Muottas Muragl.  


    Families can bask in the Engadin sun during a ride in a horse-drawn carriage into the Val Roseg or Val Fex, or race down the mountainside into the valley on the winding, 4.2km (2.6 mile) long toboggan run on Muottas Muragl.
