Find hotels in Žerotice from £42

While Žerotice itself is a small village without extensive tourist infrastructure, the best time to visit the wider South Moravian region, which includes Žerotice, is during late spring (May to early June) or early autumn (September to early October).

During these periods, the weather is generally pleasant with comfortable temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the rolling hills, vineyards, and historic towns that characterise the region. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, and the natural scenery is particularly appealing, whether it's the blossoming landscapes of spring or the rich colours of the autumn harvest. This is superb for couples or solo travellers looking for a relaxed trip without the summer rush.

For those interested in wine tourism, early autumn is particularly good as it coincides with the grape harvest season, offering opportunities for wine festivals and tastings in the nearby wine-producing towns like Mikulov or Valtice.
