One of my favorite places to stay when I visit the city. Close to USF and Golden Gate Park. Not a full service hotel, just a great clean comfortable room in a neighborhood setting.

The size is important to me. It is not one of those big hotels where the elevators are down the hall. It is intimate and the location is great. One small complaint....the room where I was staying was on the 7th floor and the buildings next door had all the ac equipment on the roof. I'm not sure that is why there was a humming all night, even with the windows closed. I never mentioned it to the desk, but I should have.

"The staff was friendly but instead of helping the person in front of me at registration ina timely manner she had a long conservation about their jobs instead of just taking care of business. I waiting almost 15 minutes to be helped and she just took 5 minutes registering me."
