"Pros: De ligging. Bar om de hoek. Koffieshop en supermarkt op honderd meter. De veerboten vanuit Sulzano varen naar alle plaatsen aan het meer en stipt op tijd. de aanlegsteiger is om de hoek. Cons: De doorgaande weg loopt langs het huis en geeft wat lawaai. Maar als je dit op de koop toe neemt, geen probleem. De gastheer Daniel is top. Alle raad en daad, niets teveel gevraagd. Met zijn boot een toer op het meer gemaakt. "Service van de zaak" volgens Daniel."

"My three daughters, dau in law and sister and I loved everything about Simone’s lovely apartment! It was colorful and had beautiful art work and antiques everywhere. We felt safe and protected in both the apartment and the flower strewn courtyard outside. So many little details that felt so Italian! Simone was a gracious, knowledgeable, helpful host. "Unfortunately the air-conditioning was not working for our 4 nights at the hotel and the temperatures were in the 30's. Everything else was old fashioned, but working well, like the shower etc. One of the highlights is the restaurant, with an original chef, producing great food and excellent waiting staff. In easy walking distance to Brescia sites."

"Front desk, bar, and dinner staff were professional, friendly, helpful, and very service-oriented. Only exception was breakfast...a bit of a hectic and crowded food and coffee self-service arrangement with - no obvious line or natural flow so it easily devolves into a mishmash of people going down the tables in different directions, etc. Not a huge deal, but friendly and helpful staff could've eased the human traffic jams and created a pleasant vibe. Instead, their demeanor was sullen - sort of seemed unhappy to be there. When I asked one of them for help because the espresso machine needed emptying of the bin, she seemed annoyed but took care of it right away. Definitely uncharacteristic of the overall experience we enjoyed at the hotel. Comfortable beds and linens, great location for shopping, dining, and walking to the funicular to go up to the Alta Citta. A really great stay."

"Booked this as it was close to the airport and had a shuttle service. The reality is the shuttle service is unreliable and in frequent. In the end, I had to catch a taxi to the hotel from the airport which is actually very difficult because it’s such a short journey. The next day, I actually walked from the airport to the hotel. The shuttle service basically operates limited hours and only on the hour. The room was nice but the lighting system is not very user-friendly. I had two TVs in the room in a Junior suite neither of which worked. Best thing about this Hotel is the Restaurant, food was amazing and the staff were very nice in the restaurant."

"I booked this hotel because I wanted my kids be able to go in the pool. No one informed me that the pool was undergoing a renovation so it was closed. The only thing the offers me was to see if the public pool was open. No apology, no option to change hotels nothing. Very disappointing for such a reputable hotel chain."
