The staff were ALL so friendly and attentive. We would definitely revommend to all family and friends. There isnt too much to do in surrounding areas but the resort itself is amazing with a selection of restaurants. "

"I've stayed in this hostel for 2 nights while visiting Cartagena and had really good time. The room was spacious with nice view, very comfortable and I loved the walk in shower which was much better than some 4* hotels. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Location was perfect, within short walking distance from everything. I would definitely stay again on my next visit to the city."

"We have spent 10 amazing days at this villa- it was a joint family break and we all just wanted a great space to rest,eat great food and have family time.Villa is spectacular- there is nothing missing!Pool space was beautiful,bbq amazing and property spacious and cool.Mark is very responsive and happy to help with any question- big or small.Pool guy visited twice whilst we there- he was lovely.Defo recommend a car- its about 30 min walk to other side where restraunts are.supermarket well stocked.Family went scuba diving which was great.We booked Padel tennis- great family fun.Would definitely recommend "
"This is a lovely hotel I found while searching for places to stay 1 night on the coast from Marbella to Valencia. The staff is very friendly and we both spoke enough English and Spanish to feel comfortable.
There is a quaint rooftop garden restaurant with good food and a charming staff.
Breakfast was included with pastry and bread, ham and cheese and juices. Very traditional Continental breakfast. The cappuccino was delicious!!
The price can’t be beat. I can’t speak as to what there is to do in Portman. It is a small and quiet town. We just stayed the one night as we passed through. But don’t hesitate to book a stay!"

"We have stayed in La Manga Club over fifty times in different areas and ots familiar and easy for us as a family. This villa looked perfect with a huge pool and beautiful views even if its on the other side of the club from the tennis club and up by the now closed down spa and the immediate area looks very sorry for itself and deserted with peeling paint and hints of better days. The villa itself is very different from the pictures. Think lots of orange pine, old pool furniture that q man turned up to put nails into to hold them together and tiles falling off the bottom of the pool. The inside is old fake flowers, 1980s prints and nylon bed linen and incredibly uncomfortable beds. My husband gashed his foot on the bottom of the pool on day one and i called the property manager who refused to apologise and insisted there must be a broken tile which there wasnt. The manager had extended out stay by 3 days but asked for cash which was fine but the state of the villa and lack of help meant my husband couldnt play golf as he couldnt walk and had to have his foot dressed daily. Im sure this was once a great villa but its seen better days and it was very disappointing"
