"It's party central during F1 season.You have the best seat in the house. The DJ is in front of the hotel. Loved it. The room is clean, pillows and bed were comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent but for one night that wasn't serviced when requested. Staff promptly answered inquiries. "We stayed at the hotel last year and had a wonderful, spacious room with canal view. This year, I booked a regular room and was disappointed as soon as I opened the curtain to a view of vents and walls. The pool and hottub were both out of order, which is disappointing when you boik a5-star hotel and really look forward to a spa day. The staff was very nice, and I would recommend the restaurant. The Amrath is very conveniently located, 2 blocks away from Centraal and 3 blocks from the Red Light District. I would stay here again but book a room with a canal view."

"Paid for the Superior Room and asked for early check-in was not the case last room to be ready after normal check-in time not happy in addition we were on second floor and sounded like a herd of elephants above very thin ceiling tile. Would have liked if breakfast was not the same food everyday especially since we paid for it, free coffee would have been nice in the lobby, air conditioner fan ran constantly, and lastly beware the hot water was very touchy as it was well beyond a normal temperature easily could have been burned."

"Amazing staff willing to try to accommodate any request. Great location to see everything in town (it’s very walkable and you can also rent a bike and go anywhere) and to travel to and from other countries. The room could’ve been a tiny bit cleaner but honestly it seems every hotel has let standards slip since Covid. First hotel in Europe I’ve seen where the thermostat will let you set the A/C below 20C, place deserves 5 stars for that alone."

"Had a lovely weekend stay at this hotel. Staff were extremely helpful, rooms were clean & the rainforest shower was amazing. The hotel is located away from the centre of Amsterdam but is very well connected, with the metro literally on the doorstep. Will definitely stay again."
