A separate den provides additional seating and a futon, while a curtained book nook with a twin bed offers a cozy retreat for reading or resting. A dedicated work desk is available when a little screen time is unavoidable.

The California Poppy Orange bedroom is filled with warm terracotta-orange tones, California poppy artwork, and a queen bed.

Pappy and Harriet's in Pioneertown is close by for live music and dinner, and downtown Joshua Tree is an easy drive. The national park entrance fills out the map for a day among the boulders.

The entire house and property are yours to enjoy! Please note that a few supply closets stay locked to store rental supplies.



A digital lock code specific to your reservation will be active during your stay; a physical key is available if needed. Please note that two closets (one in the hallway and one near the primary bedroom) and an outdoor utility closet are locked and hold maintenance supplies.



The Neighborhood:

Chromocamino is in the Country Club Estates of Yucca Valley, a quiet residential neighborhood in the foothills across from acres of undeveloped land, with easy access to the highway. Public transit is within walking distance. Hawk's Landing Golf Course and Roost Cafe, the Boom trailhead and the Snakebite Roadhouse are a couple of minutes away, and BLM hiking trails are less than a mile away.
