Great for families!
We had an extended family trip to York and rented this home. We enjoyed hanging out on the first floor. The house was clean, very new and matched the online photos. Towels and sheets included is a plus! The teens liked hanging out on the 3rd floor; it was like their own suite. The owner was available to answer our questions. Loved walking to the beach and driving the local areas. Very few negatives- the house could use some more lobster related kitchen items.

Great weekend with family
We stayed for a short weekend stay to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. There were 14 of us total - teens and adults. Lots of space to spread out, lots of fun playing ping pong and a short walk to the beach. The property was very clean and manager was easy to reach. Everyone was happy with our stay!

Clean, very spacious, plenty of room for our large group! Beautiful location.
Our group was impressed with the cleanliness of the house and how spacious it was. Bill was super accommodating to let us check in a few hours early! We came for a bachelorette party and there was plenty of room for all of us to hang out and sleep comfortably. Conveniently located for morning walks to the beach (only about a 5 minute walk to York beach) and a quick 15 minute drive into Portsmouth. Photos portray the space accurately. We would stay here again!

Graduation Weekend
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed celebrating my daughters college graduation at this beautiful house. The description is entirely accurate, the house is large with multiple seating areas and beautiful finishes. It is a five minute walk to the beach. I highly recommend this property.

Awesome Location and House!
We loved this location and house and had an amazing time. The house was very nice, beds were extremely comfortable, and layout was perfect for our stay. We came in the fall, but the house is very close to the beach and has a great location into town!

Our daughter was married in Berwick and we got this house for out of town guests to gather, sleep, enjoy the beach and local restaurants. Beautiful home, tons of room, easy walk to the beach. It was perfect.

Above and Beyond our expectations!
First, let me say, the host is exceptional! Bill answered every question, even silly ones. He even came over and helped us with the wi-fi. Next, beyond clean!! It smelled clean the second we walked in and there was not a thing that wasn't truly clean. The comfort of the home for a large group was superb. We were 5 couples and we each had a spacious room. We actually only had 2 couples that even shared a bathroom. We all had our own personal space but then the gathering area accommodated all of us with ease. We cooked a beautiful meal and everything we needed was there. We were all able to eat together at the huge table. and then we all fit comfortably in the living room. This was such a great home for a crowd. We couldn't have been more pleased!!

Five Stars in York, Maine!
We rented this amazing home for two nights for a family reunion / birthday party. First off, Bill is a great host - very flexible, very responsive in communication, and his processes worked exactly as stated. The house is gorgeous - it’s huge, and has lots of space for people to spread out. The kitchen is fully appointed and provides a great space for a group to hang out together. This house is a short two-block walk to Long Sands beach, and is in a nice quiet neighborhood. We had a perfect time and would highly recommend this property to others looking for a similar experience. Five stars!!

Great way to end the summer!
We had a long weekend to remember with family and friends at Long Sands Beach....huge house, well appointed, with everything a large group needs. Short walk to beach and anything else you need within a 5-10 min drive. Will definitely return.

Great family stay!
The house was very clean and accommodated our family perfectly. Exactly as advertised. We spent a lot of time on the farmers porch which is great for socializing. Location is good and only a short walking distance to Long Sands. We would definitely rent from Bill again with no hesitation!

August Vacation
Was a wonderful property with plenty of space to fit our family! Very clean, the owner was very pleasant to work with in answering our questions. We had a competitive family ping pong tournament in the finished basement which was lots of fun! The beach was within walking distance so no need to drive and park a car. We highly recommend to anyone staying in the York area!

Beautiful house & quick walk to the beach!
We recently returned from a 3-night stay and had a great time. The house had plenty of space for our large group of six adults and 8 kids. The house was clean and beautiful and exactly as described. The beach is an easy 5 minute walk down the street and a quick drive to the grocery store. Bill was accommodating and responsive and great to work with. We loved this house and hope to return again next summer!

Beautiful home in amazing location
Everything about our family's visit to this property was amazing. Bill, the homeowner, was beyond accommodating and quick to respond to every request from before the trip on through our entire time in York. The home is stunning and beautifully decorated. Our entire family ranging from babies under 1 to seniors over 75 were entirely comfortable. The house contained everything we needed and it was beyond clean, which made us comfortable even in this time of COVID. The location couldn't be beat. It was a short walk to the beach or a drive to any of the other beaches in York. Overall, we had an amazing time, couldn't recommend Bill and his homes more highly, and can't wait to get back and stay again!

Wonderful stay
As others have said, the house is spotless, modern, and so comfortable, and roomy enough so everyone could spread out or come together. We had some serious ping pong ball matches in the basement. Bill was great to answer any questions we had. We enjoyed some great beach days, and it was easy to walk 5 mins to the beach. There is a track at York High School that was fun for the kids to scooter around. Lobster Cove had great take out. All in all, definitely a 5 star stay!

Family Winter Weekend
We loved the beautiful house. The first floor had a big living room/ kitchen combination "Great" room, but also a decent-sized family room with tons of windows, to hang out in, which was so much better than the typical "Open Concept" (one room) that most places offer. The basement was wonderful for the kids, as well, with the Ping Pong table. There's a tv down there, too, but our kid group just chatted and played ping pong - reportedly - none of our kids even used a cell phone down in that basement! Note: That space is not heated, so it was a little cool, but kids are hearty. The 3rd floor offered another sanctuary for out group, and lots of sleeping. The linens are limited, though, and I would have brought sheets for the pull-out, if I'd known there were none. Towels were in slightly short supply, but my bro-in-law found us some beach towels in the downstairs bathroom, so no one had to share. Parking is fine for 4 cars, and if you're a talented parker, you can get 5 cars in, without going on grass or street. The road is narrow without sidewalks, but it's a short walk to stroll along the beach walk, and we loved that part. Once again - a wonderful place to stay. VRBO tacks on really high fees with these bookings, but the base price for the money was fair, and owner Bill was very responsive and helpful.

Family Wedding
On a scale of 1 to 10 it is was an 11. Walk to the ocean, near everything, trolley was wonderful— didn’t have to worry about parking. Very quiet neighborhood— near the high school so plenty of parking. House was fabulous. 3 floors— lots of couches so everyone had their own space— plenty of showers and bathrooms. Kitchen was huge. Commercial washer and dryer. Place was perfect —- Hated to leave —- 5 stars ⭐️ 👍👍👍

The perfect getaway!
This was the perfect spot for a long weekend with friends. The house itself gorgeous and had everything we needed. There were a good number of us who were meeting for the first time but the house was big enough where it wasn't awkward for anyone, yet also cozy enough where we all got to know each other better and have meals together. There was enough space for people have privacy without feeling secluded. The decor was great for a beach vibe and helped us feel at home and the beds and linens were extremely comfortable. We were able to use the grill outside, as well as cook in the kitchen and able to fit 14 people on the table and counter all eating together and it never felt like there were "too many cooks in the kitchen". There were the perfect amount of bedrooms and we had no issues with sharing the bathrooms and were able to all get ready in a timely fashion. The house is very accommodating. The deck on the third floor had great views of the ocean and plenty of sunshine for us to relax and bask in the sun and socialize. The beach was a quick walk down the road which made it convenient for people to come and go as they pleased. The house was also a quick ride to York center where we also spent a lot of time. The long and short is that this house had a great vibe/decor, was very accommodating/comfortable to a large crowd of people, and was a great location location for both the beach and downtown York activities, and is a must stay if you are looking for a house in York for a lot of people!

It's even better than we imagined
The house was amazing. It was huge - so much bigger than we had imagined. We go up to York every year with my extended family, which includes 13 adults and 2 children and we had PLENTY of space. The house was also very clean, the showers were great, and all the provided amenities were top notch. The locatoin was also an easy walk to the beach/trolley and a cute vegetable stand/coffee place. All in all, we were more than pleased. My father, who was a builder, couldn't say enough about how impressed he was with the house. The only minor drawback was that there wasn't a traditional coffee pot (only Keurig). But that is NOTHING in the grand scheme of things. We will absolutely look to book again next summer.

Hello everyone!! I spent a weekend at this lovely property and it felt like more of a home then a rental. It was perfect right down to every little detail. ( especially the rugs and beds!) There was a group of 10 people and there was more than enough room. The kitchen was our favorite gathering spot due to the massive kitchen island! The location of this house is a hop skip and a jump away from the beach and some great restaurants too. At the end of our trip we left in agreement that we would definitely rent this property again the the near future. I highly recommend this property and the owners were very accommodating and responded quickly to any questions or concerns. You can really tell that the property owners take pride in their homes.

Perfect extended family weekend
This house was perfect. Lots of room for everyone to play in. We were a party of 12, including 2 kids and two unaccompanied adults. So 4 couples had their own room, so did one adult. 2 kids slept in the same room with their parents on comfortable bunk beds, and the last adult slept in a separate living room in a king sized sofa bed.. House is a five minute walk from the beach and situated in a well manicured neighbourhood. Backyard is completely wooded so very private. In the extremely well equipped kitchen, the amenities were very modern and there was enough space for everyone to eat, either at the giant 5 places island or the 10 people dining table. My kids had a blast playing ping pong with their uncles and watching their own shows on Netflix in the basement. Even when you think all bathrooms are taken, you can find another one since there are 4 fully equipped and modern bathrroms in the house. Beds were all comfortable and AC was just right. We just didn't have enough time here i York. Would definitely stay here again, and a little longer. A but on the expensive side, but now I understand why. You just don't get this extended family togetherness and comfort combined in hotels. Too bad the town of York is not into recycling and composting in 2022, that was a big surprise. Bill was helpfull and even recommended restaurants in the area. Since there was nobody before or after our stay, we were able to check in a little earlier and checkout a little later as well. I strongly recommend!
