Bachelorette weekend
The property was beautiful and perfectly located. We had everything we needed for day to day needs. Backyard was perfect for an afternoon bbq and nighttime fire. Neighborhood was peaceful and walking distance from some great little shops and the beach. Everyone enjoyed the time we were there and would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone heading to that area.

Another fantastic and memorable stay
Another fantastic & memorable stay was experienced by all who joined our annual family Christmas celebration at 52A-B Main Street. The indoor living quarters – spacious spotless and fully stocked – are complemented by the homes’ central location and lovely outdoor living spaces – allowing individuals or groups to easily walk to the Short Sands Beach/ playground or gather around the cozy backyard fire pit. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay in York. Thanks again Pam and Mike!

Family Thanksgiving Retreat
Our family is spread out between Canada and the U.S. This was the perfect property for our group of 9. The location was amazing. We walked to the beach three times a day. It was our home away from home and very cozy and comfortable. I highly recommend this for family and friends.

Family Reunion!
We enjoyed our stay at this property. The pictures are exactly how we found the house to be. We have rented many properties over the years and this house would be rated on top of our list. It was stocked with all supplies (paper towels, detergent, dishwasher soaps, toilet paper, garbage bags) that you usually need to supply. The location was perfect for our fall vacation. We truly enjoyed the beauty of Maine. We even drove to Acadia National Park! The beach is a short walk from the house. The girls even fit in a stop at the close outlet mall in Kittery! We would definitely recommend renting this property.

Great girls weekend trip
We had a really great time staying at this beautiful home. It was clean and set up perfectly for a large group of people. The bedrooms are very spacious and the beds were comfy. Plenty of towels and linens and many amenities. We will look at staying here again in the future.

Our second time here for a reason. Great location, quick walk to Short Sands and downtown! So much room and brand new condition. We had 2 families each with 2 kids and had plenty of room. Literally everything you need is here!

We are a group of HS Classmates (Class of '64) and we have been gathering yearly for 27 years. This place gives us the space we need to enjoy our time together. It is a short walk to the beach and to the downtown.

Amazing rental!
This rental property was beautiful! So clean, so spacious, so home-like and so uplifting. The colors of the rooms and how all the pictures and details coordinated with eachother was so inviting. The house was perfect for our girls weekend. We all had the privacy we needed. It was close to the little shops and the beach. There was not one negative experience! We got to meet the owner of the property and he was so incredibly welcoming and nice. There was a very bad storm that knocked out the power when we arrived and we chatted back and forth until everything was back in order. He was very responsive and very interested in our comfort at the house. I'd love to rent this for my family someday! We absolutely loved this property!

Great beach house!
This was our third time staying in this house. We had a full house - 11 of us, 6 kids. We had no problems fitting in the house. The house was very comfortable and clean. It’s also stocked with everything you could need for the beach which is a 5 min walk away. We had a a great time!

Great For Large Family
This is my second time renting Mike and Pam's place as it's an annual family vacation with 17 extended family members. The rental is clean, spacious and is a convenient short 6 minute walk to Short Sands Beach and the center of York. The house is well supplied, with amenities for the beach such as chairs, umbrellas, bocce ball and a beach cart. There's plenty of towels and linens for everyone as well fun things to use/do such as bikes, games and even a ping pong table. We'll be back again!

Wonderful vacation rental with everything you could ask for and more!
Our family was so impressed with the layout of the townhouse. Everyone had their own space. The amenities were just as described, the kitchen and laundry room were organized and everything was in pristine condition. The walk to downtown York and beach was 5 minutes away, the beach chairs and cart made it easy to transport everything down to the ocean. Our whole family loved the experience and would stay again. 4th of July family getaway
We had 11 people stay for 1 week, the house was very clean, bedrooms are very spacious, plenty of bathrooms, ping pong table in garage was great for rainy days as well as large dining table for dinners and playing games. 52A, a great place to stay
Our whole family of 10 thoroughly enjoyed our week at 52A. The house was clean(like new). the kitchen was well stocked, beds very comfortable. Plenty of beach towels, regular towels. Enjoyed the new Bar-B-Q and the Grandkids loved the ping pong table. All of us loved the Wells Go carts and Mini Golf. Parking was very adequate. Nice to be only 1/4 mile from the beach, Funarama, York Zoo, Shops and great Restaurants nearby. Great to meet the owner Mike, very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this property to anyone.

Great location
This was the second time we stayed in this rental house. It is in a fantastic location, just a short walk to The Goldenrod, Short Sands beach, and a ton of neat shops. The beds were very comfortable and everyone was happy to have their own tvs in their rooms. Even the backyard was cute and had a nice big table and propane grill and picnic table. The ping pong table was also fun. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and laundry room too. This host has thought of everything, including beach chairs and towels too.

Perfect Maine home for family getaway
This place is perfectly located and has everything you could possibly need for your stay! We have six adult children and an in-law that we gather with. They all throughly enjoyed it. Plenty of room to spread out. The owners have literally thought of everything to make your stay amazing. Kitchen is fully stocked and they don’t skimp on any supplies unlike some of the other places we have stayed at. Can’t say enough good things about this place. You will not be disappointed. I wish they had a property in every state because we would seriously use every one of their houses during our travels

New Years Eve trip
8 adult family members got together to celebrate New Years 2023. The house was beautiful, immaculate and everything we needed was available. The house is decorated gorgeously and the beds are all so comfortable. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach to get some morning exercises. We used the fire pit and the grill was available for grilled pizzas. I would highly recommend this house for your vacation home. Every bedroom is super spacious!!

Great weekend for a group
We came to Maine for the Christmas Prelude in Kennebunkport and this property satisfied all of our needs. It was very well equipted, very comfortable and inviting. It was close to many area attractions such as the Nuble lighthouse, the quaint town of Ogunquit and of course Kennebunkport. We would very highly recommend this property.

Perfect location lovely home
Every step of this rental was easy and smooth! Our family uses vacation rentals several times a year so we are seasoned in this experience. This lovely and clean property did not disappoint us at all. Home is spacious, well decorated and bedrooms are very large! The beds are comfortable and there lots of back up blankets and pillows! This is the perfect rental for families to come together but also have privacy. The property is updated and kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful! Everything is well stocked and organized!!! We would highly recommend this rental to all!!!!! We hope we can come back to York tomorrow n the near future!!!!

We absolutely fell in love with the area. It was the first time for most of us going to Maine.
We loved the beautiful home, neighborhood, ppl and the area. We had plenty of room for our group even though we had a couple who didnt get to make it. We can't wait to come back. Hopefully the next time will be a little warmer. But the fall and the brilliant fall colors along with the ocean and beach was breath taking. Loved watching the ppl suiting up and going surfing. The only thing we had an issue with was when we went to wash our clothes. Was the fact the front loading washer had alot of mold all around the seal and where you put the laundry soap in. Which i did take photos of. We decided not to take a lot of clothes with us because we knew we would be able to wash our clothing. So my family opted out of doing our laundry because of the mold and we just went and bought more clothing. Which ended up being an expense we were not counting on for 8 ppl and brought our dirty laundry home to do. We did wash the towels as asked. The mold in the washer was our only major issue. The only other thing is i would recommend having someone to come in to clean the orange sofa it has very noticeable stains on it. We definitely would still rent the home again on a future visit and bringing more clothing with us next time. Other then Colorado, York, Maine is my new favorite place to go visit. I will recommend this home to others.

Tracy, We are sorry to hear our property didn't meet 100% of your expectations. In response to the washing machine I assure you the tub and rubber gasket are cleaned carefully after each stay with a Clorox bleach cleaner including the rubber gasket. We also run the deep self-cleaning cycle at least once a month that runs for about 6 hours at extremely high temperatures. Unfortunately some of the stains do not come out but there is no active mold present, that we are certain of as we've had it tested for a client with a mold allergy a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, this is a typical down fall of a front loading machine and replacing the seal is as expensive as replacing the washer. When we do replace it we will definitely go to a top loading machine. As to the orange colored sofa we have it professionally cleaned every spring and we're not sure who or what stained it this summer but when we tried to remove the stains they appear permanent. We've order a replacement that unfortunately is still several weeks out to get a quality sofa with the most durable fabric available. We look forward to having you back soon. Mike & Pam

Great Stay in Maine
All preparations went as planned and the rental was well suited to our family. We had all we needed for the four days we vacationed and attended my nephew’s wedding. Large, beautiful space made for a wonderful family vacation.
This was a perfect space for our extended family's vacation. Clean, lovely, spacious large areas. Well-suited for family gatherings. Open concept kitchen/living room/dining area is especially welcoming for families/groups who wish to spend time together. The large bedrooms easily accommodate individual family/group sleeping arrangements. Good space for groups with children as the roomy interior allows for play space throughout and the large backyard is fun for running around and games. Kitchen is very well-equipped. The parking for multiple cars is especially appreciated. Location was within walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. Hosts were friendly and most welcoming. Communication was prompt and thorough. We would definitely rent this property again.

Just spent the weekend for a Wedding. This property was perfect. It is a 5-minute walk to downtown York. The house is so neat and clean, it has everything you need. There is plenty of parking. Pam and Mike answered all my emails promptly. Mike even checked in while we were there to be sure we had everything we need. I give it 5 stars!

Fantastic Location - House Has Everything!
Mike and Pam were fantastic hosts and communicated with us days before our arrival. The property had everything - beach towels, chairs, pull cart, ping pong, bikes of all sizes with helmets, and even multiple folding beds when a couple of our kids friends stayed over. The home was in brand new condition and extremely well kept. Location was great, less than a 10 minute walk to Short Sands. We can't think of anything that we could have used that wasn't provided. Can't wait to go back!

Labor Day in York
We have rented many places through the years as a large group and this was the most accommodating host experience ever! The home has everything you need and more. Easy to travel with a toddler here, plenty of entertainment inside and out, and very communicative hosts. We were all thrilled with every aspect and the experience made us want to come back to this place. Close to shops and restaurants and beach- just a 5minute walk and enough of a yard for some yard games with the family. Comfortable sleeping and very clean!

Great place
My family rented a few houses in Maine before and so far this is the only place we re-booked again for next year before we checked out. It was clean, spacious and a great backyard for kids to play outside. The owners were very nice and responsive.

The property was very spacious, clean, well maintained, and stocked with plenty of things to do
My extended family (13 of us) stayed at the property. It was walking distance to beach, shops, and zoo which made it easy! Property has plenty of outside games and beach things. Very clean and plenty of space. Overall a great place to stay if you have a big group. I would stay there again any time!!

Another great Maine vacation!
This is our third stay in this home and we loved it again! We stayed its first year open and 6 years later it still looks new! We rent a car because we fly from out of state but we only need to drive a couple times while there because all of Short Sands and that area is a very short walk. The beach wagon makes taking a cooler full of lunch and all your supplies a breeze for a day at the ocean. For the first time we spent a couple hours hiking around very close Mt Agamenticus which was very fun. We’re already looking forward to our next stay in two years!
