"The room was great. Very spacious and clean. My issue was that when staff came to clean and throw away trash, they left a coffee cup that they were drinking from behind. We were not happy to see that they left their own trash behind in our room. We were happy to have a laundry machine but there’s no dryer so please be wary. I believe the listing says “dryer”but really it’s just a drying rack. The couch was also filthy when we got there."

"Clean room with decent layout for ease of use. Sink is separate from the toilet/shower so helps for groups sharing. Breakfast buffet is great and has western and eastern options. Main downside is location. It’s decent if you are planning to stick around the Gangnam area, but not very walkable and pretty much anywhere you want to go requires a bus/subway ride. Subway stop is close by but is a local, so late night options may be limited. Laundry exists, but I didn’t use it so cannot vouch for how well it works."

"Our stay at Shilla Stay was wonderful! The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay. We accidentally left some items on the airport transit, and with a simple call to the hotel, the staff were able to assist us with recovering them. They also helped arrange a bus for our return trip to the airport on the day of our departure, which made everything much easier. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and overall, we had a great experience. The only area I would suggest improving is the vegan food selection. While we appreciated having some vegan options available, the selection was quite limited. What was provided was enough to hold us over until we could get food elsewhere, but it would have been wonderful to see more options for vegan guests, particularly those who do not consume any dairy products. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and greatly appreciated the excellent service from the staff!"
