"It's traditional Korean Architecture was good enough for my kids to understand the ancestors life. Room was cleanly renovated to stay comfort and blanket was also clean. But private bathroom need to be cleaned properly since there are no ventilation equipment and spiders from old house. I have to waste 30 minutes to kill spiders and clean it again. "This is an incredible brand new high techy techy hotel with amazing staffs. Sophie from reception was extremely helpful as you could wash your clothes for free. The breakfast lady was incredible and ensured we had enough food. The WiFi was so far the best we had since we got here. Kind and attentive to details, staffs will try to assist as they can. There's even a mini convenience store with free coffee...all surrounded by sublime view of the city...oh and I forgot the Japanese toilet....pure bliss 😊. Highly recommended. I think the hotel is underselling itself as its by far nicest hotel since we got here. Great location and the coffee shop opposite is great too. Great people,...wish there's more things to do in Andong so we could have extended our stay. Check in was all automated self checking...a first for us...especially for someone who has travelled to over 84 countries..staying in many hotels...this was great for its cheaper price. If we ever come back to Andong, this would be our first choice without a doubt. I rarely write that long or even sometimes forget to submit a review after a stay but I had to for this particular brand new hotel. Look no further as this is perfect."

"My stay at Andong Hotel was truly life-changing. Yes, it takes about 30–40 minutes by taxi from the Andong KTX station—but that distance is exactly what makes this place so special. It feels like stepping back in time, into a slower, simpler way of living that’s hard to find anywhere else. The quiet here is something you can actually feel. You wake up to the sounds of birds and roosters, and at night, the soft lighting around the hotel gently guides your way without disturbing the peace. Even the internet comes and goes—but instead of being frustrating, it felt like a reminder to stay present and fully take in the surroundings. Sleeping on the heated floors was one of my favorite parts. I felt my back pain disappear, and in a way, it felt like I was reconnecting with something deeper—like returning to my roots. It reminded me so much of my childhood in Vietnam, staying with my grandparents. I came to Korea to find myself after losing my grandfather in 2025, and this place held space for that journey. Hearing the wind chimes throughout the day brought me comfort—it felt like a quiet reminder that he was still close by. This isn’t a place for nightlife or busy schedules. There’s not much around—and that’s the beauty of it. It’s for solo travelers, for reflection, for healing. If you’re looking for that “eat, love, pray” kind of experience, this is it.
