Amazing
Loved it! Was our kind of place. Private and very peaceful. A place to relax. Access to lake was close so we were able to put our boat in at the boat ramp in very little time. If you like wildlife it’s the place to be. Definitely a place I will return to.

Wonderful!
Fantastic location, secluded, quiet cabin with every amenity provided. We had a lovely time and caught lots of fish right off the bank. The fire pit and large deck were major hits for the kids.

Peaceful getaway
Very clean. Lots open spaces to move about freely. Loved the screened porch and open deck area. Our dog loved watching the deer in the mornings and afternoon. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Arkansas Vacation
The house was exceptionally clean. It has everything you need except for clothes and food. Wildlife is everywhere. We saw deer, turkeys, squirrels, birds, and even a Texas brown tarantula (crossing the road, not dangerous). The location is about an hour from Branson, 1 1/2 hr from Eureka Springs and same to Buffalo River. The host were gracious and very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay.

This is as private, clean and enjoyable of a location you will ever stay at. Very nice hosts and they have really thought of everything to make the stay stress free. Loved it. Saw 20+ deer every day!

Beautiful Ozark stay
This rental was one of the best we have stayed at. We like the quiet and yet can be greeted and welcomed by whom we met. Bull Shoals Lake is also beautiful. The home was clean and so much supplied to us. Great place to stay. Great host....Loved it..

Another wonderful stay!
From early morning coffee with a lake view, to swimming in the crystal clear water at the near by boat dock, to camp fire s'mores (provided by host). This is one of the best vrbos you can find! We are looking forward to our 3rd stay in this wonderful hideaway cabin!

Beautiful retreat after several long HOT days on the water!
My fishing partner and I were in town to fish a tournament. The temperatures were in the 100s that week. Fishing was tough without the heat. The hideaway was the perfect place for us to come “home” to for relaxation and regrouping!! It is far more beautiful and peaceful than the photos give credit. We highly recommend!!! The host goes out of her way to welcome you, to answer all questions, to make the booking process smooth! A++ experience!!’

Solitude at its Best
The house and property are fantastic! Bedrooms on both ends of the house with their own bathrooms. Watch the deer daily from all angles. I think they like the clover. Kitchen is well stocked and easy to maneuver around. Handy having a nice washer and dryer right there too. Living room is spacious and comfortable. Lots of movies and games to play. I stayed for March and April for hiking and motorcycle riding. Hiked 180 trail miles and nearly 4000 road miles. Public boat launch .7 down to the point. Can be a nice peaceful walk. Hardly used by the public. Peel ferry is about 10 miles on Hwy 125 which crosses Bull Shoals Lake and quickly gets you into Missouri. Ferry ride is free of charge. My grandchildren had a fun time crossing on our way to Branson. Hosts Gwyn and Vance are supper nice and make sure your comfortable and everything is in good working order. I would highly recommend staying here anytime. All is well!

Great get away for peace and quiet
This is your perfect get away spot for quiet relaxation , beautiful scenery, and wild life viewing. Also found elk grazing only 40+ miles away . The fall colors were amazing. The cabin is simple, extremely clean, with plenty of amenities. The owner Gwyn is so nice and accommodating. The whole experience was so great. I highly recommend this host. The Rivers Family

Lovely getaway
We personally loved the layout of the property. Big beautiful deck + screened in porch. 2 well stocked bathrooms in each bedroom. The bedrooms were on opposite sides of the cabin which made it great for us and our lil one. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Had everything we needed to settle in for a long laidback weekend. Everything was easy + seamless. Great hosts!

Do not stay at this property we have stayed at many places we had great reviews for the past 10 year
The owner is a nut case. We asked for toilet paper and she came over very angry we had no idea what we had done She continued to say our pets had fleas they did not the place already had fleas in it. Stay far away from this place as the owner is a terrible person you do not want to deal with her at all. The garbage we left was stacked in the wood burner outdoors. We even cleaned up before we left. Just cant stand being treated like this at all

As the owner I have a very different opinion about the circumstances you detailed in your review. I have multiple examples about how our property was not respected and house rules not followed, but arguing or being spiteful over an inaccurate review isn’t how I conduct business. I disagree with everything in your review and hope prospective renters look past the inaccurate commentary, but still wish you well.

Great Getaway!
Such an amazing property!! Our family are huge outdoorsy people so we wanted to find a cabin to spend a few days away from it all. This place was great!! I LOVED the deck off of the back of the house, it was great to sit and enjoy our morning coffee & cocktails in the evening on all while watching the deer on the property. Our teenage boys also loved the place. Their favorite parts were the kayak and the giant jenga game on the screened in porch. It was the perfect getaway for us with Anne beautiful scenery.

Everything was great. Perfect location, we loved how close it was to the boat launch. The only tiny drawback was those mean paper wasps outside the back screen door. But we loved this little gem!

Best first time experience ever
They definitely go above and beyond to make their guest feel at home. The check in process was so easy, they answered all of my questions and left us a treat in the house to welcome us. I would recommend this place to anyone and definitely will come back with my family. The other little perks was the lake in the back yard and all the wildlife we got to see. It was all amazing.

Peaceful and quiet
After the craziness of 2020, this was just what I needed. The peace and quiet was wonderful and I loved the daily visits from the deer (plus a couple of fawns). I was able to kick back and relax and even get a little writing done (although I wasn’t able to finish the jigsaw puzzle, lol). I loved the screened-in porch, which allowed me to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature without having to deal with the bugs. The next time I need a place to just get away from it all, this will be at the top of my list. I’ll be recommending this little gem to friends as well. And thank you for the smores!

My fiance, daughter and I were looking at lake destinations and while searching I came across this adorable cabin and it is EXACTLY like it is in the pictures! Beautiful property, so peaceful and relaxing which is exactly what we were looking for ☺ they have all the amenities that you will need to enjoy your stay without having to pack up your entire house, which is a huge plus especially because we don't have a very big car lol we will definitely be returning to this little slice of heaven and look forward to making this an annual trip ❤

The ups and downs
Everything was beautiful..it was nice they had a kayak..would have loved to been able to use it but the path to the lake was so rugged and steep i could never have attempted it..there was no fish to be caught which was sad for me as that was the reason i chose a lake location ..fishing aside it was a wonderful stay..however not knowing there were no tubs in the house this was a game changer and disappointment..not that it wasn't nice...it was just completely off from what we wanted..tubs to relax in would have been perfect..but we made it quite fine and it was lovely there

Great place!
Really great place! The view was amazing and the walk to the water was nice! The back patio was the best having a closed in area to be able to relax outside and not deal with bugs! Plenty of outside room for the dogs to run. Def will be back!

Our second time was just as good as the first. The property is quiet and peaceful with deer and birds everywhere. The deck is a heavenly spot looking out at the lake. This was the absolute perfect spot for our family - 2 kids and 2 dogs. There are endless opportunities to explore in nature- hiking, biking, fishing, playing catch in the open space, coffee on the amazing deck, bird watching and other wildlife, s’mores around the fire pit, and many games, cards and books to enjoy! Bonus: the beds are comfortable. Our girls loved finding treasures and looking at them under the microscope. The cabin is well stocked with all of the cooking supplies one might need. Gwyn went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a wonderful experience.

Great weekend away!
We decided to make a last minute trip over the long weekend. We were hoping to find a place where we could unplug, explore a but and focus on family. We couldn't have asked for a better place! Our last minute request to book was no problem. The cabin was exactly what we needed for our family of 4 and 2 pups. Nice selection of games and puzzles kept us busy. The property was nice to walk, even in the middle of January. The lake was lovely and made for great sunrises. The drive into town was nice and we were able to get groceries and things we needed. It was relaxing and exactly what we wanted. I've never been somewhere so quiet! A wonderful escape! Thank you!

PERFECT PLACE TO RELAX
WE ENJOYED THE QUIET, PEACEFUL SETTING; THE WILDLIFE; AND THE SOUNDS OF NATURE BOTH IN THE MORNING AND THE LATE EVENING. THE HOSTS COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER IN ADDRESSING ANY QUESTIONS OR NEEDS WE MIGHT HAVE HAD. PLACE WAS SUPER CLEAN AND THE WASHER/DRYER WERE AN UNEXPECTED BENEFIT.
