MINUTES to Lower Buffalo River GREAT FOR FAMILY AND FRIEND FLOATS! Our updated cabin is safe and accommodating for the whole family. This 2 bedroom 1 bathroom cabin offers access to laundry facilities and shares a common wall with our 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin. There is a lockable adjoining door between the two cabins. The open concept living/kitchen includes: Large butcher block island for food prep and seating for 4 Antique pie safe provides ample storage for pantry items and staplesT Full size refrigerator, electric stove/oven, microwave, toaster and coffee pot along with cutlery, plates, bowls, cups, mugs, serving utensils, dishes and pots/pans Full size futon for additional sleeping and coffee table, two arm chairs with bistro table Large RokuTV with DVD player and DVD’s Games and puzzles for entertainment \*NEW\* Electric “Real Flame” fireplace with crackling sounds and adjustable heat creates a safe and warm atmosphere The two private bedrooms are directly off the living room. Bedroom one has a queen bed, side tables with storage, two sitting chairs, dresser and open closet storage Bedroom two offers a queen bed, 2 sitting chairs, writing desk and closet The bathroom includes a full-size stand up shower and wall heater OUTSIDE: Firepit and picnic table are just off the steps. Propane Grill on your deck. Bring your cooking supplies. We request our guests REFILL the propane tank if they use the last of the gas, as a courtesy to the next guest upon arrival. Wild Bill’s exchanges tanks at the corner. Large covered porch and enjoy the unique “swing” sitting area, 4 person dining table and lounging area with coffee table. Step off the back porch onto the new open air fire pit with sitting area and picnic table. Enjoy the view down the ridge facing east toward the Buffalo National Forest. We have a large lawn behind the house with a view to the forest – feel free to use our custom corn hole set or challenge each other to a game of disc golf. PARKING: Free, and ample. If you are bringing trailers (RV’s, 4x4’s), we have space – just let us know COMMUNITY AMENTIES: Millers Landing is one of five cabins on our property. There are common spaces available to all our guests. Large lawn areas Rope swings in trees Disc golf goal and discs IMPORTANT NOTES: Our internet is not super fast. It tends to work fine for streaming movies, email, video calls. Video Monitoring. We take seriously the safety of our guests, our team and the property. External video devices are used on this property for security purposes only. These devices are located facing the driveways and paths so we can monitor access. Access to data is limited to our owners and stored for a set period of time by our third party provider. VERY CLOSE BY: The Ridge is located in the heart of the Buffalo Point recreational area of the Buffalo National River. 3 miles to Buffalo Point Campground beach area - at the end of our road! 4 miles to the Indian Rockhouse Trailhead (it's a must-do on your trip) 2.1 miles to Dillards Ferry river access 6.8 miles to Rush Old Mining Town with river access 0.3 miles to Wild Bill's Outfitters (gas, grocery, trips) 0.3 miles to Dirst Canoe Rentals (grocery, trips) IN THE AREA: Kenda Drive-In in Harriet Fishermen can enjoy the Buffalo River, Crooked Creek, or visit Cotter on the White River. Yellville is about 20 minutes north (closest grocery store). Marshall - another float put-in spot - is also about 20 minutes south You're within an hour and a half of so many hikes including some of our favorites in Arkansas like the Centerpoint Trail to Hemmed-in-Hollow or Big Bluff. About the building: This building has a cool history. It was a club and restaurant back in the day where locals would hangout, listen to music, eat and drink. It was converted to a house to host visitors to Buffalo Point. Millers Landing is part of our community of cabins called The Ridge at Buffalo Point. You can rent one cabin or multiple (we have five in total and can host up to 24 people- check out our other listings!) Whether you're a fan of summer floats on the Buffalo River or looking for a quiet winter getaway, we have the cabin for you! We hope you enjoy your time in the area and are able to disconnect from your regular routine and reconnect to the outdoors and to the outdoors. The Ozarks and the Buffalo National River are very special! The passed couple of times we have floated the Buffalo, we stayed at Wild Bills, and the cleanliness and maintenance of their cabins was less than standard. We found this cabin on Vrbo it had high expectations that this was gonna be better. All the while we ended up inviting our sisters and to do an annual sister buffalo trip. Even though it rained most of the time and we did not float, the stay was still amazing, comfortable, relaxing, and clean. The communication in the check-inwas very convenient and super easy!
