"We enjoyed every minute of it. Rustic and relaxing. We did not want to leave! Hot tub was incredible! We got to take our dog who loved running and being next to the water. Truly a dream property! We plan on coming back!"

"The lady that owns this place has been excellent to work with as hotel.com had my reservations and stuff all messed up she's bent over backwards to help me , upgraded my room with no extra charge.rooms were nice and clean it's quiet there enjoyed or stay very very much. I would definitely recommend this place"

"Hotel Expedition is the classic old hotel/motel renovated into an "arty" cool property. I really like that look and so it works for me. The no human staff aspect worried me but it all worked out pretty smoothly. I did receive the text with the room # and the code for access. Check was not quite as smooth as there were no clear directions for how to check out. I managed to talk to housekeeping staff and although friendly, they could not help me with check out directions. We ended up asking one of the women to text the owners and let them know that we had left. The property is across the street from a nice sized river which was very relaxing. The town of Red Lodge is also very charming and I really enjoyed our time there. Hotel Expedition is easy walking distance to the heart of the town. I would stay at this property again but some of the amenities were lacking. Examples: sauna not functional and directions via QR code not helpful, jacuzzi apparently working but didn't look that clean, wall clock not working, etc,...little stuff like that but really didn't bother me that much. This place seems like a perfect fit for younger travelers. If not expecting a higher end property, this place could be perfect for you."

"Kind of the perfect cabin getaway. Rustic enough to feel like a cabin but with enough amenities that you still feel like you’re in vacation. Close enough to Red Lodge to visit and get food but secluded enough for quiet evenings."
