"This place is a long way from Yangzhou, about 40min. Pictured are misleading, as it is on a dry river bed, not on the Li river. Once you get over the shock of being so remote actually the service is very friendly, beautiful hiking and amazing rooms. The pool is only in use over the summer months. "We went there with no plans because it was forecasted to rain a lot. But it didn’t rain that much and the staffs there helped us arranged our itinerary. They suggested us where to go, helped us booked tickets and transport. There was also free transport to/from Yangshuo city center. Overalls all the staffs were friendly, so helpful and able to speak English very well. If you download Wechat, they will help you even before your stay. The room we booked was the largest and it was very spacious for 4 adults and 2 kids. The room was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was included in our stay and we had a choice of Guilin noodles soup or western breakfast. There was also vegetarian options. They were delicious and cooked them fresh for you! We had a wonderful time staying here! "

"We loved staying at Tea Cozy. The best hotel we stayed at in China. Peter and his staff are amazing, very nice and so helpful. Our room on the fourth floor was so comfortable in every aspect. And what an incredible view from our wonderful balcony. Really enjoyed walking around in the area. The food at breakfast was really good. I loved the banana crepes. Are are very thankful that we had this amazing real China experience at Tea Cozy. I would highly recommend!!!!!!!!"

Pick-ups from airport and train station are offered and all-day sightseeing as well. And walking around the village next to the hotel offers many interesting sights and encounters with super friendly vendors. In short, thanks to Mark and all for a wonderful stay. Communication was made easy by translation apps, and as more English information is available in writing in the rooms, it will be even easier for non-Chinese speakers to fall in love with the Yangshuo region, people and hotel."
