9/10 Wonderful! (1,202 reviews)
The hotel is old, worn-out, and in desperate need of a facelift. Unfortunately, it remains the only decent option in Zhongli. I stayed in an “Ambassador Suite,” but the carpet was dotted with stains, making the room feel far from clean. The housekeeping staff did their best with the limited resources available to them, while the front desk service was inconsistent.
Dining options are also disappointing. Only one restaurant offers buffet breakfast and lunch, with no dinner service available. As for the lobby coffee shop, it is best left unmentioned.
This so-called five stars hotel’s greatest advantage, by far, is its location. Otherwise, it falls well short of expectations, especially given the room category.
