The rooms at the Rainbow Lodge are undergoing a significant upgrade. As we arrived, they were just re-hanging the door to our bathroom. Charles, the manager, does a great job of managing the work, and we were very comfortable with the accommodations. Our room was freshly painted, with new linen on the bed and blackout curtains on the windows. It also looked like we had a new microwave and minifridge. The location is close to eating areas, and a restaurant is next door. This place is a good choice if you are looking for affordable accommodation across the street from some great fishing.

This place is a gem! The room was spotless with several nice touches. I got a patio room with the outdoor soaking tub, i used it frequently. One of the best perks i never would have known I would appreciate so much. The Blue Wing was great, just get the porkchop. The staff at both the Hotel and the Blue Wing were all great. I will be back!

The room was clean and spacious, but the problem is the next morning we did not have any hot water at all. We were calling and they kept saying it would be 20 minutes, but it never was. We had to leave and check out without even showering!

The room AC/Heater was not clean. It had food crumbles inside it and looked nasty. Also the heater kept on making a lot of noise all night. Its an old unit and it kept on waking my kids up.
