The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. I have to say that the staff were very cheerful, helpful and approachable. They would answer questions, give directions with a smile and very patient. They were the best staff. We enjoyed our stay very much. Will stay there again next. I highly recommend this place. Also it is in a very good location.

The day before our arrival, we were informed to anticipate noise from the nearby train and onsite construction. Would have appreciated learning if that sooner as we would have chosen another place to stay. Can not currently recommend staying there under any circumstances.

"Lovely place to stay near Newmarket, I had booked it because it offered rooms with baths. I was travelling with work and knew I wanted an early night and a bath. Hotels.com listed the available room as having the option of a bath so i requested it. To be fair the hotel never confirmed the request ..."
