"They don't really have a 'in house restaurant with drinks and food'. It's a coffee counter under the Starbucks logo. When we checked in Sunday afternoon it was closed - we were informed it would open at 7 am, they only do breakfast. When I came down again the next morning it was still closed, and I was informed that 'for the time being they are closed on Monday' - they said it was a staffing issue. NONE of this was evident from their website - we had a morning appointment and had we known we couldn't get breakfast at Sonesta, we would have stayed somewhere else. Also, don't be fooled into thinking they have a bar. Perhaps some of the other Sonestas do, but not the one in Columbia."

"Hello, I stayed here for an extended weekend and it was great. Joe at the bar was so kind during the happy hour and just any time we saw him while on the property. Lucia L at coffee bar and the breakfast area went out of her way to make my coffee each morning and it was perfect. She was so kind to me and my friend. Maria made an excellent omelette The front desk team were amazing, but I forgot to write their names down"
