"steps leading up to second floor are kind of steep. no place to park near building when checking in. Bathroom nice with good water pressure in shower. There didn't appear to be any dining options when we were there. room clean and updated"

"A beautiful, cozy cabin surrounded by nature and peace. Exactly the getaway our family needed. The river, fire pit, and quiet surroundings made it easy to relax and disconnect. Clean, welcoming, and included everything we needed—you can bring your own food and enjoy your whole stay without needing to leave. And if you pay attention, you may even spot hummingbirds visiting. We truly loved it!"

"Only 35 miles from Traverse City, but you’d think you were further, this remote lodge in the Huron-Manistee National Forest is a hidden gem! Somewhat difficult to get to, but worth it if you want to enjoy nature at its finest! Surrounded by tall pines, you are cut off from all city distractions and can truly relax in nature. Groomed trails for ATV and snowmobiles, if you’re into that (alot of their guests are, but that did not detract from the overall experience). Mine was a summer stay; I expect winter snowmobile traffic would make it more raucous. This is not glamping or a luxury stay; it is a basic “up north” experience that is refreshingly real."

"Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, decent place for our needs. TVs in all the bedrooms, fire pit with wood ready to burn (we didn't use it). We would stay again."

"Love staying here! Very clean, and quiet. Love having coffee on the porch in the morning and listening to the water and the geese. No cable, but quiet time with a book! Comfortable bed."
