Perfect Setting For Your Outdoor Fun Welcome to our custom built cabin situated on a 2 acre deeply wooded lot, on the western shores of the Castle Rock Lake. Definitely one of the most prominent locations of the lake! With over 3600 square feet of spaciousness, our home sleeps up to 12 guests without compromising the privacy or comfort. This three level, tastefully decorated cabin is located directly off water, and only a 5 minute walking distance to the lake and the beach. The design of this home has been featured in a number of log home magazines including Log Home Living, Country's Best Log Homes, Log Home Design Ideas and Log Home Illustrated. Built in 2005, the house features all up-to date conveniences including fully equipped kitchen with solid hickory cabinets, stainless steel appliances and granite counter-tops. Large peninsula provides additional sitting and casual dining options for six. Sound proofing between the main level and lower walked out level, whole house humidifier, air filtration system and water softener makes this house even more comfortable. Secured wireless internet WIFI access, as well as phone land line with free local calls are also included in rental. The main floor open concept design features great room with 42' flat screen HDTV above stone wood burning fireplace, wall of viewing windows, sliding door to the deck, hardwood floors and 25 foot vaulted ceiling. Two bedrooms (both with queen size beds), two bathrooms and laundry room with Maytag stackable washer/dryer completes the main floor. Hand hewn stairway connects the main floor to the loft overlooking a great room. On this level the guests can find two full size futons, flat screen TV and siting area perfect for relaxing, movie watching, game of cards or just quite reading. The walk-out lower level game lounge features a TV area with 55' flat screen TV, ping pong table and large selection of board games. Two additional bedrooms (one with king size and one queen size beds) plus two bathrooms complete the lover level of the house. With several gathering areas indoor and outdoor, this home is an ideal retreat for several families or a family reunion. In the summer enjoy grilling, sitting by the fire-pit or choose from wide variety of outdoor activities including boating, canoeing, kayaking (two new kayaks and canoe are included in rental), para-sailing, hiking, golfing, biking at the State Bike Trails or horseback riding. There are boat, pontoon and jet ski rentals as well as reasonable dock rental available very close by, less then a mile from the house. Just 30-minute drive to the Wisconsin Dells, where you can find entertainment for the entire family: water parks, mini golf, restaurants, bars, go-carts, movie theater..... there is something for everyone. In the winter skiing, sledding or snowboarding at two ski hills Cascade Mountain and Devil's Head both within 45 minutes distance, or snowmobiling with an easy access to the Juneau County marked snowmobile trails. There is a basket full of brochures with points of interest, places to see and things do in the Castle Rock Lake area. So whether you are looking for relaxing hideaway, an exciting place for outdoor activities or just passing through, we can accommodate your desires. Great amenities for kids and adults. The beach within walking distance is not really a beach, but a shoreline. Castle Rock Park beach which is 5 min drive is a perfect beach for all. It was scrupulously clean and beautifully decorated. The bedrooms are separated from each other, two with ensuites and the other 2 bedrooms had a beautiful bathroom located just outside each bedroom. There is also a wonderful loft where are 2 boys slept. The location is perfect with more things for the family to do than we had time for. The host was wonderful to work with. Everything was just as she told us it would be and she was available for help at any time if we would have needed it. The additional sleep/lounge/loft area upstairs provides sleep/activity area for older kids or work/computer area for adults. Lower level is another couch/actvity/tv area, in addition to the bedrooms. A pantry space that was empty except for a few small appliances (crockpot, hand mixer, etc) made a great space to organize ALL of our snacks etc. The hosts were great with communication and followed thru with all follow up and communication. We stayed in Eric and Ursula's home with another family for the week and had a wonderful time. There were 9 total people and we were very comfortable. The house was clean and so very beautiful - we would stay there again! The kitchen was very well stocked with all the utensils and appliances we needed and the rest of house felt like home too. We enjoyed nightly walks down the road to look out over the lake and enjoy the amazing stars! Thanks for a great trip! ##### David P. Listing is a bit misleading. It is not located on the lake and more of a walk than we expected. But overall, we loved our stay here. The place is so great! We enjoyed every morning having coffee on the huge deck. Ursula was so informative and helped with any questions we had. The house is stocked with EVERTHING you would need, we way over packed. One of the greatest parts, every single bedroom had a full bathroom either in it or right outside the door . We had a wonderful time, there were 10 of us staying at the cabin, my nephew and 2 sons stayed in the loft and the other married couples all had their own bedroom. It never felt crowded, it really helped to have 4 bathrooms. The weather was very warm, we rented a pontoon and spent a lot of time in the water, which is just across the road. The cabin is beautiful and is in excellent condition. We're already talking about reserving for next year. The hosts were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend it. It was incredibly beautiful and we had all that we needed to pull off an amazing meal for the holiday. Ursula, the owner, could not have been more accomodating with us throughout renting her property. It truly felt like she was part of the family who was sharing her beautiful cabin with us. Furthermore, she set out her own huge turkey platter, a baster, a meat thermometer and a beautiful bottle of wine when we arrived. Now that is outstanding and very thoughtful service! We will highly recommend this cabin to stay at. We all said, if you wanted a more quiet and cozy home away from home near Wisconsin Dells, this is the perfect place to rent! ##### Elise K. The furniture and beds are old and worn out. The home was dirty, and we had to call the landlord when we first arrived. There was food in the sinks, hair and dirt on the stove, refrigerator was dirty, floors and windows were dirty. For the property we thought we leased vs what we received was a rip off and we never would have rented it.
