I found my room to be ok- reasonably clean and with a very comfortable bed. The daily room servicing was very helpful and the staff friendly. There was a microwave and toaster and kettle and although mugs were available there was not other cutlery or crockery until i asked- it was quickly brought when I did. Outdoors, staff worked hard to keep the grass and trees looking green and cared for as t he weather was very hot. I should add that the room was cool at all times and there was a small outdoor table and chairs. I was very keen to use the pool but there were lots of leaves in it and although I completely understand it must be a never ending job keeping them out, I just didn’t feel a swim was for me. You need a car to stay here as meals are in the centre of town. A popular overnight stop for those travelling more broadly.
