I debated on leaving a review due to me staying at this hotel quite often when in town. I booked a room for thanksgiving evening w/ my spouse and newborn daughter. Everything was ok as it usually is, until the morning. I heard a soft knock from what turned out to be housekeeping. It is almost 9am and checkout isn’t until 11. No time wasted, she proceeds to enter my room, the only reason I woke up was because of the security bolt. I go into hallway to ask why she is trying to enter my room and she states “checkout is at 11” ok then why are you trying to enter my room at 9am?? I would not have been so upset had I not had my daughter w/ me, but to just try and waltz into my room unannounced, makes me believe there were other motives. My wallet and keys are just sitting on the nightstand, we’re all sleep, since when is this standard practice? I know they carry a log of rooms that are occupied, why not start w/ unoccupied rooms? You can clearly see the door tag, so why are you trying to sneak in my room? I’ve never had issues staying at this hotel in the past, which is why this is so baffling to me, this was unprofessional and completely unacceptable.

It is policy for our housekeepers to announce themselves before entering occupied guest rooms. I will speak with the Executive Housekeeper to ensure that policies and guidelines are being followed and enforced. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this Hotel beyond comparison. The rooms was very extravagant to where I felt right at home.The walk-in shower was an extraordinary comfort to really enjoy. the location was very convenient. The service was lavishly comfortable. When we checked in online we had to let them know how many we had. We had four people and only three towel and wash rags. Asked front desk for more and he didn’t know where they were

We are sorry for the miscommunication. There are always 4 towels per room. One is in the vanity cabinet, along with a washcloth. We will speak with our desk staff in regard to the location of back-up linen.
