"We stayed at the hotel during a major Theatre Festival, with hundreds of people attending and being transported by buses to theaters across Winston-Salem. From that perspective, the hotel environment was pleasant and accommodating. There was seating in the lobby for people to meet and chat. The hotel restaurant was open late to accommodate theater goers who returned after 10 pm. The front desk people were pleasant. The room was clean and well-serviced by housekeeping. Things I didn't like were related to the room: 1. The phone did not work at all. 2. The room didn't have a microwave. 3. There were too few hangers in the room. 4. The bathroom shower fixtures were modern European spa style, which looked chic, but had a faulty/broken mechanism related to turning the water on and off. We used it. Went to breakfast and when we came back from our room after breakfast, the shower had turned itself on and was nearly flooding the bathroom."

"Great value and location but be patient and set realistic expectations. The staff is great and were always kind, friendly and professional. Brooklyn was very helpful with some special requests, Please note that you will need to come prepared for kitchen stovetop that requires induction pots, pans and skillets which were not available during our stay. Overall, I strongly recommend this option mainly because of the staff and its value."
