Wingfoot Lake State Park

It took almost 40 minutes to find someone to check us in. Then when we got to our room both the sink and tub in the bathroom were backed up and full of hair and water that didn't belong to us. The room itself was pretty but the tub and sink shouldn't have had sitting water in them, it made me question how much the housekeeping actually cleaned between customers renting the property.

Staff? What staff? There were no staff on site at 7:30 pm till I don't know what time they showed up the next morning. I had no ideal when I booked it there would be no staff, so that meant no room choice, no one to run interference when the little girl in the room next to me cried for two hours solid. Sometime after 11pm she quieted and I could sleep. As soon as she woke the next morning she was crying again. Do not recommend.

We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Cedar Point. Every staff member was friendly and enthusiastically helpful! We chose this hotel because of their stance as a LGBTQIA+ friendly safe space and by the end of our stay, we felt like family! The rooms and amenities are top notch and the location is great!
