"Based on the online ratings we had high expectations for the Mimslyn Inn. We were a bit disappointed. The good and the not so good: The rooms are vey spacious however they do not come with a micro fridge or microwave. I cannot remember the last time I stayed at a hotel or inn where they were not provided. NOTE: A community microwave and fridge were available on the third floor. The staff was attentive and we enjoyed the two meals that we had at the Speakeasy Restaurant. During our stay the other restaurant was not open for lunch or dinner. We enjoyed the use of the hot tub which was kept clean and the perfect temperature. On the downside, several of the carpets at the Inn are in need of some serious cleaning - something I was not expecting at an Inn this highly rated. All in all, we enjoyed our stay - the Inn appears to be one of the few upscale places to stay in Luray."

"Bed was comfy, had laundry on site, lots of restaurants walking distance, centrally located to gas and expressway, breakfast was good, hot cookie on arrival. No glasses in room just paper/plastic cups but I had something to drink out of so I'll take it."
