  • If you are looking for privacy then this is the place for you. House rests on a peninsula with private entrance. This is southern comfort at its finest. Sit and relax on the oversize pier. Perhaps take in a view of the lake from the hot tub. Maybe spend the day exploring the lake by kayak. Come and see what a true southern porch looks like from our porch swing. Even bring a boat and spend the day fishing to get away from the days news. Must be 24 years old to rent.

Stayed at the property and attended races at Talladega Motor Speedway. Very nice property, well kept, and many amenities. The Lay Lake is beautiful, especially at sunrise. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

Wonderful stay!

The house is lovely, easy to get to but it feels very secluded. The large back porch was perfect for hanging out, watching the lake, birds (blue herons, egrets), boats, sunrise. The living room had more than enough comfortable seating for all of us, and the kitchen was very well-equiped (including multiple machines for making coffee!). The hosts were so helpful, replying quickly to a couple of questions (before and after we got there). We'd happily stay here again!

Beautiful home. Very peaceful area on lake. Kitchen has all you should need. We enjoyed the hot tub and the porch swing! The boat dock has a radio and speakers and plenty of chairs for relaxing while doing some fishing!

Perfect Lake House

A long weekend to do some fishing and relaxing. Me, my wife, two 17 year olds and two 13 year olds. Rented a boat from Paradise Point and kept it at the house. Kids enjoyed the hot tub, did some kayaking, and we built a fire each night. The house was very clean, beds were great, and it had everything we needed in the kitchen.

Most peaceful get away I ever had. Every aspect of this get away was above expectations from the comfortable lodgings to the serene location. Spent every day kayaking, lounging on beautiful back deck and/or dock watching lake activity or chilling out by campfire at night near the water. Mike, our host was accommodating and always responded promptly to inquiries. Thankful to him and his wife for sharing their little peace of heaven with us.
