Delight is a unique one-bedroom houseboat at The Cove, featuring a first-floor living area and a spacious rooftop patio for indoor-outdoor living. The cozy Queen bedroom, full bathroom, kitchen, and living room with a sleeper sofa offer comfort, while the rooftop includes an outdoor bar and seating, perfect for relaxing, drinks, and sunbathing by the water. The Space: Delight is located in slip#2, the very first spot on the marina side of the dock. Delight is The Cove's only one-bedroom villa. The living area is all located on the first floor, while the top of the villa is an open air patio. Full kitchen stocked with everything you could need to prepare a great meal. Complimentary local coffee, creamer, and sugar, are provided alongside a drip coffee maker. Bedroom with Queen size bed, large closet, and ceiling fan. Open concept living and dining room, featuring three bar stools along the kitchen island, cozy pull-out couch and arm chairs. A full bathroom with walk-in shower. Parking for The Cove is conveniently located in a nearby garage approximately 0.3 miles from the dock. The garage offers 24/7 in/out access and is equipped with an elevator for easy loading and unloading. Parking for one vehicle per reservation is included, with additional parking available at daily rates set by the garage. While the garage is close, guests should be aware that there is a 5–7 minute walk to the dock due to our marina setting. Rolling luggage is highly recommended, and bringing a cart or wagon can be helpful. A limited number of wagons are available for guest use at our on-site office on a first-come, first-serve basis. The houseboat was a unique option and fun experience...only regret is not being able to stay longer! I will definitely be keeping this in mind for concerts at the amphitheater. Great place to stop overnight with my son on a return trip from the far south to the northeast! Simply staying a dock is always the best; the American version of staying on a houseboat in Amsterdam! Their are 'dock carts' to easily load and make the short walk from parking to the dock a breeze. This is a quiet marina, people are very respectful and friendly without being intrusive. Views are amazing- even in the stifling heat we enjoyed a few hours relaxing on the upper level deck- a great bonus with major photo ops :) Everything is as described- even better in person than is depicted in the photos :) Easy to clean up before you depart- check in and check out are explained nicely. We absolutely loved our stay- it was in itself a special highlight on our vacation :) There is a Whole Foods that only requires a short drive, and many shops and restaurants nearby.
